Salaam,

Most of you may have heard that there are no actual clear fossil and foot-print link between humans and any ape or what they call hominid ( a.k.a Missing link ). Then there is the argument that humans alone have awareness of good and evil, while not a single creature other than us has this, making it not a smooth evolutionary progression either.

But here are some quotes floating around by Darwin, who was only one of the "scientists" who supported racist ideas such as considering black slaves as genetically inferior, as well as spurning on the Eugenicist movement. This also led to justifying the colonization and plunder of all the non-white continents.

Quote

“At some future period, not very distant as measured by centuries, the civilised races of man will almost certainly exterminate and replace throughout the world the savage races. At the same time the anthropomorphous apes, as Professor Schaaffhausen has remarked, will no doubt be exterminated. The break will then be rendered wider, for it will intervene between man in a more civilised state as we may hope, than the Caucasian and some ape as low as a baboon, instead of as at present between the negro or Australian and the gorilla.”
Charles Darwin, The Descent of Man

Here Darwin, who is the base of today's evolutionary theory, is advocating ethnic cleansing again!

Quote

“I could show fight on natural selection having done and doing more for the progress of civilization than you seem inclined to admit. Remember what risk the nations of Europe ran, not so many centuries ago of being overwhelmed by the Turks, and how ridiculous such an idea now is! The more civilised so-called Caucasian races have beaten the Turkish hollow in the struggle for existence. Looking to the world at no very distant date, what an endless number of the lower races will have been eliminated by the higher civilized races throughout the world.”
 Charles Darwin

There are people who say that eugenics still exists today, and that it simply changed names for convenience, to organizations like "Planned Parenthood", who are likewise obsessed with reducing populations of targeted societies.

Anyway, let us all acknowledge the great effects of the Islamic story of our common brotherhood, equality and connection to the same father Adam (عليه السلام). Only once the "scientific" lie of making people believe that we spring from apes came along, it gave people the excuse to naturally say that some people are closer to those animalistic ancestors than others. It will give people the perception that some are more "evolved" than others, making people fall into the same trap that iblis the satan fell into. He was convinced that he was 'better' than Adam, and so arrogance was born.

Here is a great documentary showing the reality based on Darwinian thought:

Thanks,

Salaam

Don't worry. Man does has something "missing". Like the angels say, "Man is an evolutionary dead-end."

Hitler was quite fond of Darwinism, particularly natural selection and survival of the fittest. So are American presidents in practice while in speech they lie, being good and "democratic" politicians.

I think this is an important topic, because "Theory of Evolution" proponents are actually helping racism. Logically speaking if the theory of evolution by Darwin was true, then there must be some tribes who are closer to the monkeys than others.

The Adam and Eve story is the most un-racist one.

We must acknowledge the fact that many if not most people today believe that some races are superior to others. We even have hadiths that claim kurds are Jinn, and that black people are inferior. I don't think that Jinn are necessarily bad, so the Kurdish claim isn't priority for me right now, but the claim that black people are inferior I highly doubt being reliable.

Did you read the quotes by Darwin above? Darwinism is racism and discrimination.

Darwin wrote in the era of "the white man's burden."  The second quote, if his, is like the modern "clash of civilizations."

he wrote in the era of "destruction of Christianity", and you are supporting a racist man who propagated racist ideas of Africans being closer to monkeys, and that they should become extinct.

Here is Darwin claiming that different races come from different monkeys.

Quote

It may be doubted whether any character can be named, which is distinctive of a race and is constant ... they graduate into each other, and ... it is hardly possible to discover clear, distinctive characters between them ... As it is improbable that the numerous, and unimportant, points of resemblance, between the several races of man, in bodily structure and mental faculties (I do not here refer to similar customs) should all have been independently acquired, they must have been inherited from progenitors who had these same characters.[53][55]

what can be more racist?

Darwin, himself, may have been racist, like some other enlightenment philosophers and thinkers.

However, Darwinism, the mechanisms of adaptation and natural selection aren't.

So, he may have seen the direction of evolution or mechanism of evolution through his racist lenses, but the mechanism itself isn't racist.

well, when applied to humans it inevitably becomes racist, because according to this theory there must be some humans who are less evolved from animals than others. Only the Adam and Eve story give us all one ancestor who was fully human, and not some shades of evolution and survival of the fittest story.
