Aren’t the 4 men arrested already?

Yes, but the problem of racial profiling and police brutality has not been stopped. States need a plan for how they are going to make things right.

Further, all the officers who have been attacking protesters over the past week also need to be fired or arrested.

I get the feeling the mayor was just trolling Trump. I didn't confirm, but a friend told me that BLM condemned it as a publicity stunt.

I'm not saddened by it.

Supposedly, apparently the two are in a "feud".

For non-Americans --Trump shamelessly equated the Mayor with "vicious dog" because in our childhoods', "Bowser" was occaionally the name of TV and movie dogs. Actually, we had such a so-named dog in my neighborhood.

Thousands demonstrate in front of US consulate in Hamburg against racism

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Hamburg police have dispersed Black Lives Matter protesters, citing a violation of coronavirus restrictions. Germany held the largest demonstrations over the death of George Floyd outside the US on Friday.

Police in the northern German city of Hamburg on Friday intervened in an anti-racism protest, declaring the rally over after just 30 minutes.

Authorities claimed the attendees had violated police instructions to adhere to coronavirus rules such as wearing face masks and maintaining physical distancing.

Around 4,500 people attended the protest outside the city's US consulate along the banks of the Alster river.

The rally was registered under the slogan: "Justice for Floyd - stop killing blacks - stop the racial terrorism in the USA." Crowds did not immediately disperse following police instructions with photos posted on social media showing people sitting instead on the ground.

Protest organizers appealed to demonstrators to go home peacefully. The rally eventually started to break up in the late afternoon.

The largest anti-racism demonstrations outside of the US on Friday appeared to be in Germany. In addition to the Hamburg protest, thousands of people rallied in Germany's financial hub, Frankfurt.

Protesters were seen with raised hands in the air, holding banners with slogans such as: "Your Pain Is My Pain, Your Fight Is My Fight."

In reference to the George Floyd killing caught on camera by bystanders in Minneapolis, one poster at a Frankfurt demonstration read: "How Many Weren't Filmed?"

Police described the Frankfurt demonstration as peaceful and said that those attending had followed the rules introduced to curb the spread of the coronavirus, including wearing face masks.

Are we facing just a criminal government or some thing more than that?

"We are Americans, if you want to kill and hurt people go to Iraq!"

You are not bad because you kill innocent people in other countries, you are bad because You kill innocent Americans...

l am watching/listening to the A.M. national nutwork yarn . . . errrrrr . . . 'news' . . . hyping the "defund" and "dismantle" the police --rather than changing actions allowable while making an arrests or detentions. Michelle Obuma pops on as if she is running a pep-rally, and there will be nutwork specials tomorrow night about "justice".

OPINE: These self-appointed rabble rousers fantacize they are formenting some kind of color-revolution. A NBC poll, https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/meet-the-press/poll-80-percent-voters-say-things-are-out-of-control-u-n1226276 , 'found' that 80% of Americans believe "things are out of control."  The poll does not specify what "things". And there are probably more than one set of things. Which means people are getting worried. lM0, most of this 80% does not and will not side with the juveniles in the streets although they likely agree with the "men in suits" and other police-reform spokesmen.

Tens of thousands turn out across US to protest police brutality, racial profiling

US protesters turn White House fence into memorial wall

Quote

In New York City, multiple protest rallies were waged as they have every day for more than a week. Several thousand people gathered near the northwest corner of central park for a demonstration called "The March for Stolen Dreams and Looted Lives." .

A group of teachers also marched in downtown Manhattan holding up a banner that read “Black Students Matter” as well as other signs demanding an end to the school-to-prison pipeline.

In Philadelphia, demonstrations started at the city's art museum as protesters made the trek to City Hall, chanting "No justice, no peace. No racist police."

Hundreds also took part in rallies across the northeastern state of Massachusetts in cities of Worcester, Cambridge, Salem, Lawrence, and at the University of Massachusetts Boston Campus Center in Boston.

The Midwestern city of Chicago was also the site of massive protest rallies that began at Union Park that marched through West Side Saturday afternoon.

Moreover, demonstrations across the western state of California drew crowds of thousands, with protestors marching across the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. Thousands more also took part in protest rallies in the state’s other major cities of Los Angeles, San Diego and Sacramento, where people marched near the state capitol where "Black Lives Matter" has been painted in giant letters, stretching three blocks.

There was also a heavy presence of National Guard forces during Los Angeles protests, as demonstrators made their way to protest at LA City Hall.

This is while thousands further gathered in the French Quarter of the southern city of New Orleans for a protest rally Friday evening, as authorities blocked Jackson Square following reports that some protesters called for the removal of Andrew Jackson's statue.

Meanwhile, a long line of people -- some chanting “No justice, no peace” -- waited outside a church in North Carolina for a memorial service for Floyd as ceremonies to mark his life and mourn his death continued on Saturday.

A hearse carrying Floyd’s body arrived Saturday morning for a public viewing of his casket and private memorial held in Hoke County in the southern state. Hundreds of people from the area came to pay their respects. A group of mourners on horseback visited the church in tribute to Floyd.

Photos and video from Washington on Sunday show a number of protest signs mounted on the fence by demonstrators bearing messages that include “Black Lives Matter,” “No justice, no peace,” “Say their names” and other rallying cries of those who have marched through the nation’s capital over the 10 days.

During the protests in Washington, Lafayette Square served as a flashpoint. On Monday, the protestors gathered there were forcibly cleared from the area by U.S. Park Police and law enforcement, who used chemical agents in the process, so President Donald Trump could walk from the White House to St. John’s Episcopal Church after a televised speech.

The next day, a tall black fence was erected around on the north edge of Lafayette Square, and by Thursday, all entrances to Lafayette Park, the Ellipse and other open spaces near the White House had been closed, according to DCist.

Since then, the fence has been a meeting point for demonstrators, with the largest crowds yet descending on the area near the White House on Saturday, and the space has become symbolic of the larger protests.

Over the weekend, Washington mayor Muriel Bowser renamed the stretch of 16th Street NW that leads to Lafayette Square as “Black Lives Matter Plaza” and painted the words “Black Lives Matter” onto the street. On Saturday, Black Lives Matter organizers turned the D.C. flag on the mural into an equals sign and added the words “Defund the police” to the pavement.

I just want this pointless stupidity to end already, the country to open back up, and jobs to begin hiring so that I can get back to my marginally tolerable existence.

The blue & green haired crowd is agitating for things that I not only will not support, but couldn't bring myself to support even if I saw value in them to me.

They can expect my resistance to their communism & sodomy-promotion

Dayton Muslims in Ohio rally for Black Lives Matter

Quote

“Racism is not something that any community in America is immune from. All communities in America have to do more to address the issue of racism,” said Romin Iqbal, Executive and Legal director of CAIR-Ohio.

“Something important to keep in mind is the Muslim community is not separate from the Black community,” he said. “In fact, the largest ethnic group for Muslims in this country is African-Americans.”

Dozens of supporters gathered with signs to listen to leaders and later march to show their support for the Black Lives Matter Movement.

“It’s about doing what we need as people of faith and as Americans,” said Dr. Luby Abdurrahman, chairperson of the Dayton Mercy Society.

Dr. Abdurrahman says fighting racism is just as important as fighting the coronavirus pandemic.

“[Racism] is a virus that has been prevalent in this nation from its founding. Therefore, we have to stand up …and while we’re fighting and trying to survive and social distance, we also have to find a cure. That cure is changing the systems that brutalize and oppress people of color.
