Is it science of the Quran, is it linguistic miracle, is it the character of the Prophets?

Big question depends what stage you are at. If you are atheist then first thing to tackle is created Vs uncreated cosmos.

If you believe in A creator then it simple from there.

Polytheism cant hold a candle to monotheism.

If your are monotheistic either this creator cares enough to guide us or doesn't.

If you believe he guides us. Then you are left with all the religions.

Compare the religions based on the literature. Qur'an is infinitely superior in everyway.

The number one reason has become realizing dark sorcery exists and prevails over the minds of humans, and particularly seeks to separate between the Quran from the Ahlulbayt despite the clearance of Quran.

فَأُلْقِيَ السَّحَرَةُ سُجَّدًا قَالُوا آمَنَّا بِرَبِّ هَارُونَ وَمُوسَىٰ {70}

[Pickthal 20:70] Then the wizards were (all) flung down prostrate, crying: We believe in the Lord of Aaron and Moses.

I believe in the lord of Muhammad al-Mustafa ( peace be upon him and his pure progeny) and Amir al-Muminin(Commander of the Faithful), Imam al-Muttaqeen(Leader of the Pious), Hujjah of Allah(عزّ وجلّ)(Proof of Allah(عزّ وجلّ), Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib(عليه السلام).

21 Ramadhan & 10 Muharram. Their life and Blood testifies to HIS(عزّ وجلّ) Lordship.

Other religions are impractical. An outstanding Buddhist or Hindu is a secluded monk that lives in a monastery or deep in the wilderness, an outstanding Muslim would be someone who's an integral part of their community. Helpful, useful, and eager to benefit those around him.

Whenever I’ve had doubts and asked myself if my faith (Christian) is really true, apart from other evidence, two things stick out to me. Does my faith make sense to real life, people, and our human condition, and the issues of love and justice. Can I relate to God? Or is he too far off? Does he understand my pain and suffering, depression, sickness and rejection by others?  God is loving and just but where do we see these actually being practiced or done by God to the absolute fullest extent. God will always do what he says and be the perfect reflection of his attributes and word. If he’s just, what does he do with sin to make sure justice is absolutely paid for in full? Where does my son and others’ sins go? If he’s loving, what is the proof of that? What demonstrates that he’s not only loving by doing something loving, but  that he has done the most loving act that could be done in the universe? What God does he does well and to the fullest extent. Justice must be completely paid for a love expressed to the absolute fullest extent

Islam is the religion of the heart. Your heart will know. And your heart will know, once it's receptive and perceptive to receive the light.

There won't be an instance, when you reach a conclusion through reason or mind. The latter assists the heart in its journey to become receptive and perceptive. You'll know, when you'll know.

Slowly and gradually, follow more and more Sunnah and Adab of the prophet and the imams, in addition to the mandatory obligations, and you'll start to notice more and more signs and confirmations as you move forward.

But always and until the end, focus on improving your Adab, by following the right role models.

Because of the locks on what is otherwise a very easy and manifest recitation.

When there is a verse that by universal language rules obviously means something by the flow and context of words giving context to words but people can't even see it as a possibility let alone it being the reality, there is something there confusing people about it and not letting them even see it as possible when it should be obvious by normal language rues.

When the more easier and manifest and intuitive by language rules interpretation is not even seen as a possibility but the worse interpretations assumed, when words taken way out of their place and de-contextualized,  there is something going on.

And this a sorcery that afflicts all Muslims and humans that approach the Quran.

So let’s say someone is interested in reverting but is facing this sorcery that is blocking the path forward.

What would you recommend as an antidote to the sorcery? Also, how would one identify its source or root?

1. Reflecting (trying to see beyond their assumptions).

2. Seeking help from God and seeking refuge by God's Name (God's word of light brought to life - the Guides).

3. Reading the sayings attributed to the family of Mohammad and reflecting over them with respect to Quran.

4. Finding your inner sword (No one can do that, but you, Prophet and his successors can help, but ultimately you have to find God's sword and find the power within).

5. Reading various views on each verse especially if it's a subject that can be controversial or pertaining to controversial thing indirectly.

6. Building on what is clear in Quran and leaving what is unknown and unclear to be later clarified by Quran (this is a method by which all of it becomes clear).

7. Making sure one doesn't have any envy to the highest servants of God but instead love of them (whether one knows who they are or not is irrelevant, just make sure to want to know who they are).

Ultimately, though, the community has to become sincere to the truth and everyone has to participate in rejecting what is false and attributing to God what they know and teaching what they know only, and seeking to learn what they don't.

Lastly, I will be writing a book to help make this easier, I will show clear evidence of sorcery with respect to some verses and then unveil the truth in this regard.

The answers are very generic and superfluous like "it makes sense" and "it's perfect".

For a LayMuslim does anyone have a more specific answer?
