Marketplaces are despised by Allah

Salam can someone please explain this Hadith, and why marketplaces are seen to be despised if they’re places where one may gain a reasonable and Halal sustenance which can be used in the way of Allah(سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى)

Definitely talking about either black friday shoppers or those people who loot and clear the rice/toilet paper aisles at Walmart

 

On a more serious note, markets can be used to oppress. Think about the shops built in front of Baqi for the sole purpose of impairing your ability to view the graves of the Ahlul Bayt. Or any market built on the ruins of those forced to vacate without their consent, like whatever mall they decide to build over the ruins of Awamiyah.

I like this explanation and it is very sound, however, the Hadith was addressing marketplaces in a general tone, wasn’t it?
