I believe ear piercings are halal for men. Men have worn them alongside women since there invention And I don't consider them a womans adornment. How ever guaging or stretching ears looks marook at best. The piercing is stretched to accept a plug or tunnel. The lob is damaged by my standard and it is practiced by tribal peoples as a pagan tradition, so it damages the body and is imitating the kafir here are some examples at https://duckduckgo.com/?q=guaged+ears&t=canonical&iax=images&ia=images.

This is the most I could find in regards to ear piercing right now... If I find more opinions I will post them here.

According to Sistani: https://www.Sistani.org/english/qa/01276/ (Q5), http://www.alulbayt.com/rulings/15.htm (Q9)

Question: Is it haram for men to wear an earring? If not, can he pray with his earring on?

Answer: He must avoid wearing it as an obligatory precaution.

518. Question: A new craze has spread in Europe in which men wear ladies’ earrings in one or both ears. Is this allowed for them?

Answer: It is not permissible if it is made of gold; rather not at all, based on obligatory precaution.

According to Sheikh Leghaei: http://www.askthesheikh.com/does-Islam-allow-men-to-wear-earrings-and-have-body-piercings/

Question:

I wanted to know what the Prophet and the Holy Imams (peace be upon them all) had to say on men wearing earrings, and body piercings. What exactly is allowed for men and women, and what is not? I have been asked by many friends and simply told them I do not know of any narrations specifically, only I cannot ever imagine a Prophet or Imam of Islam ever getting a piercing. Please help.

Answer:

Anything which is considered by society or custom to be feminine or womanly should not be worn by a man. Anything that would associate a person with a particular sinful group (e.g. homosexuals or illicit drug users or gang members) should also not be worn. Anything which may harm the body, leading to infections or other medical problems, is also not allowed. Having said that, there is no specific prohibition against piercings or earrings in general, although of course this does not befit a believer.

The video doesn't even seem related to your question. Perhaps a miscommunication.

If you're still interested, I can translate the French for you, but not the Farsi bits in between.
