Planning to follow a mujtahid

Salamu Alaykum guys, I hope you are all fine. Today, I decided to follow a mujtahid, I will try for few months, if my life became easier then I will start following a mujtahid permanently.

Can someone help me how to follow a mujtahid? And from where should I start? I still didn’t decide who to follow. Lastly, I have a last question. If a mujtahid said something is halal but it’s actually haram, did we commit a sin? (Please don’t attack me, I’m just asking a question because I don’t want to have any doubts)

No, it is not sinful at all. This is why we follow a mujtahid.

So that means they sinned and not us right?

There doesn't appear to be a better option than Sayed Ali Sistani. That's my opinion.

Thank you brother. Last question, I have a question regarding sayid Sistani, I remember someone posted a video about sayid that he believe that Qur'an is incomplete, is that true? Of course this question has nothing to do regarding following a Mujtahid. I just want to clear my doubt.

I have never heard that about him.

Update:- I will start following sayid Sistani, some people use to slander about him, sadly I thought what they said is true but it’s actually false.

If I need anything I should check his website right?
