Why on Earth would he say that? I will let him clarify it before commenting further.

May Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) protect us from such things.

I like how you are giving benefit of the doubt. He was saying more literal version of that in other thread.

But still, we need to give more benefit of the doubt to fellow brothers.

Are you ready @eThErEaL?

The way to tell is how much at peace one is with himself when a calamity befalls.  How many negative thoughts are generated and how fast they subside.  This is truly all an art of living.

What about you Shahrukh?  Are you ready?

Also, the question is tantamount to asking:  "Are you a wali (a chosen one / friend) of God?"

Ref:

62_6.png

Say: 'You of Jewry, if you assert that you are the friends of God, apart from other men, then do you long for death, if you speak truly.'

This is what makes one a wali of God. One who has already died to his false illusory sense of self and is therefore already familiar with death.

So, no, I am obviously not a wali of God. lol

We fear the unknown and death is definitely an unknown. But some of us can't wait to cache in our points with God... Others are a bit shy... Others dreadful... But even if you convince yourself you're one or the other when you're not, death will break that illusion in that last glimpse of yours of this life. I don't mean to scare you but most people treat death as a myth when in fact it's the only thing we can really be certain of.

I got hit by a car last year and went flying in the air and ended up with a broken bone though in that moment in time, all I saw was how useless everything really is in this life if it isn't somehow connected to God. Though I am happy since I am wasn't afraid. But damn, that broken bone hurt.
