Salam, I had a question regarding missed days of fasting. I had a combined total of 121 days of fasting missed from the year 2010 to the year 2015. I had intentionally not fasted.  I have been fasting every Ramadan since the year 2016. I started to make up the days that I missed starting in the year 2016, before the Ramadan of 2016, and was able to complete all 121 missed days before the start of Ramadan for the year 2019. I have not done anything else to make up my fasts other than fasting the days that I missed. What exactly is my kaffarah? I am a muqallid of Ayatollah Sistani. I went on Ayatollah Sistani’s website to figure out what exactly I had to do in order to become current on my fasts, but I got confused. I would really appreciate it if I can get guidance on what I exactly need to do. I regret not fasting on those days and I would like to fix it.

Thank you.

I'm looking at Ayotollah Sistani's website, and the idea that I am getting is that I need feed 300 poor people and give 300 mudd amount of food to poor people.

This is what I'm looking at:

Ruling 1678. If a person delays keeping the qaḍāʾ fasts of the month of Ramadan for a few years, he must make them up; and for the first year’s delay, he must give one mudd of food to a poor person for each missed fast [as kaffārah]; however, for the delay in the later years, there is no obligation on him.(3)

Ruling 1679. If a person intentionally does not keep the fast of Ramadan, he must make them up; and for each missed fast he must fast for two months, or give food to sixty poor people, or free one slave. And in the event that he does not make them up until the next Ramadan, then based on obligatory precaution he must also give one mudd of food as kaffārah.

By the way, I've already made up the days that I have missed but I'm not looking to fast two months for each day that I have missed. So my other option would be to feed the poor and give "one mudd of food as kaffarah".

Ws.

There are criteria for poor people as well. Finding 60 individuals who actually qualify for these categories to be labelled as genuinely poor is not easy.

Unfortunately, you must either perform 60 days of fasting, give food to 60 poor people or free a slave for each fast that you have missed (which is a maximum of 7260 fasts or 7260 poor people to feed) and in addition you must give five mudd of food to the poor.
