Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi’s advice to people about Corona virus

In a speech, Grand Ayatollah Naser Makarem Shirazi referred to the infection of 28 Iranian nationals and the deaths of five others due to the Novel Coronavirus and emphasized the necessity of hygiene.

The revered source of emulation advised the people to maintain peace and avoid anxiety in society and said, “The people must trust in God Almighty while taking matters of healthcare and hygiene seriously. It’s worthy to recite Ziyarat Ashura and Hadith al-Kisa in all houses because these two noble supplications can boost the spirit of everybody and have valuable effects.”

Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi emphasized, “Presence in public centres is not appropriate (for containing the disease). You must know that one of the things that is obligatory is protecting your life and your health and if anybody neglects this, then they will be held responsible in front of God.”

His Eminence added, “While maintaining calmness, the people must pay close attention to the instructions and warnings given by health officials and act on them.”

Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi said, “We also go into prostration after prayers, we pray for the solution of such problems. God-willing, these prayers will be effective provided that the people perform their duties in regard to health and hygiene.”

well here is some facts overlooked by the events of coronavirus make your own conclusions

before coronavirus escaped accidentally from the wuhan lab one of the main things threatening the chinese communist party was the million man march protests of Hong Kong

since the virus spread the protests have completely diminished

secondly

it supposed to according to mainstream media started or spread from the local wuhan markets supposedly coming from the wild animals being sold there such as bats

but however the chinese people have been eating bats and other wild animals for years maybe even traditionally centuries , but suddenly now it has become a problem

I would say possibly that there is a chance it was intentionally released to so the protests which the country couldnt stop, but they under-calculated the devastating effects of the virus and thought they could control it but lost control

It explains why we keep seeing pictures of people in hazmat suits spraying streets and walls.

Another study, published last week by Imperial College London, said that about two-thirds of coronavirus cases exported from China have not been detected yet.

But Mr. Paget, the epidemiologist, suggested that public health offiicials and policymakers were overreacting. “There’s too much panic,” he said. “They did the right strategy to try to contain it, but it’s not working. Transmissibility is super high. So we have to change strategy. We need to accept that this is now part of our ecosystem. It’s probably going to be there every winter with all the other viruses.”

and has been asked to get tested for Corona but cannot access emergency services as she was told she is having no difficulty breathing nor does she have a fever. She does have chills though.

As a layperson and based on what I have read, I think she should self-quarantine (like one room of a property). Bleach would be a good cleaning agent for whatever she touches at home. And she should stay well away from anyone who has a weak immune system (cancer patients) and those with heart disease etc.

One thing is certain, it's highly transmissible and if she hangs around clinics etc. there is a high chance she'll pass it onto others. Perhaps get others to lobby doctors etc. on her behalf and perhaps get tested at home. UK NHS is recommending not spending any more than 15mins within a couple of metres of someone.

If she does make it to hospital, someone had better make sure the staff who treat her all wear hazmat suits etc.

Still only at the Phase 1 stage, so likely more than a year away from production. Still it is progress.

I have a growing feeling this has the potential to be the foretold "white death" event which together with the "red death" reduces world pop to one tenth or one third or there about. The "red death" may happen when the executives with keys to the countries' nukes get infected and start to believe that the other super power engineered the virus. Wallahu Aalim.

l read a couple of years ago that there never was a "red death."  Secondly, the is an authenticating chain of command for every WMD, so no executive could possibly launch one on his own.

If I start wearing a mask, once I reach home should I get rid of it or can I wear it again?

Rinse it in alcohol. You can also make other masks out of paper towels just as effective. Use rubber bands or such for your ear attachments.

Wait, are you series? Do you have any tutorials?

edit:- Just now my mom went to the pharmacy to buy some mask, one piece of mask cost $12. The police start closing some pharmacies who is scamming the customers.

Yes this is happening in the UK as well. Well known stores will ration but smaller ones will sense the chance to make a quick buck.

The paper towel stops the airborne droplets that carry the virus.

Apparently its the N95 ones that are most effective against virus. But this home made version is certainly better than the ones you see most people wearing, in the sense that you'd dispose of it more frequently because it's so easily obtainable. I think a risk with the cheaper ones that you buy will be peoples' tendency to not discard them as frequently as they should.

Iran's deputy health minister has tested positive for the new coronavirus disease, as it struggles to contain an outbreak that has killed 15 people.

A health ministry spokesman confirmed that Iraj Harirchi was infected with Covid-19 and under quarantine.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-middle-east-51628484

Sorry to say that this does not look good for the deputy health minister or his colleagues. They of all people should have known that if he had symptoms he should have been under quarantine then and not waiting for the result of tests. And we know he has symptoms because the link above has a video of the press conference and he is sweating profusely!

Quite right. I've never seen a more honest presentation of a medical situation report than Iran's Deputy Health Minister mopping his brow repeatedly and clearly at the point of collapse during an official press conference proclaiming all was well.

not never. just weeks ago, the president and commander of the mightiest nation and army in the world made a press conference more than 10 hrs after attack on their military base, only to make 'sniffing' and 'adderall' twitter trends shortly after. and you had the most honest medical situation report weeks after, when his soldiers started suffering only 'mild' brain injuries. kind of reminding their and their ally's honesty in the case of Khashoggi.

By the way,  Iranians see it as a good sign when a commander is injured right in the battlefield, meaning that he does not leave soldiers alone in the battle. the Deputy was being praised for his commitment and full time attendance to patients.

A global pandemic outbreak of a new coronavirus will almost inevitably spread to the United States, public health experts are warning, putting new pressure on the Trump administration to act as cases begin to mount outside of the Chinese epicenter.
