I already post about it 3 weeks ago, a 75 years old lady said she won’t take the vaccine because some people are telling false information about the vaccine.

Oxford Covid vaccine has 10% efficacy against South African variant, study suggests

Small-scale trial of vaccine shows it offers very little protection against mild to moderate infection

The Oxford/AstraZeneca vaccine offers as little as 10% protection against the Covid variant first seen in South Africa, researchers have suggested.

Scientists who conducted a small-scale trial of the vaccine’s efficacy said it showed very little protection against mild to moderate infection, though they expressed hope that – in theory – it would still offer significant protection against more serious infection.

The disappointing results came as lab tests on the Pfizer/BioNtech vaccine found it may still provide substantial protection against the variant. Scientists at the University of Texas medical branch collected antibody-containing blood plasma from 20 people who recently had two shots of the Pfizer/BioNTech jab.

------

these are facts, it has only 10% affectivity for their variant. I have family-friends there too and 2 of them are medicle experts..where do you see false information?

When l see this kind of 'relationship', l do not know if it is "popular theme driven"(like smoking was in the late 60's and 70's); or if there is some connection between the immune system and insulin levels. @starlight

IMPORTANT: On the day you get the covid-19 vaccine you should not take pain medication before receiving the injection, because doctors are not sure if that will reduce the effectiveness of the vaccine. You should take the pain pills after you get the shot, if needed.

AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine rollout has gotten off to a rocky start in Europe—to put it mildly. First, a supply shortfall triggered a public back-and-forth between executives and government officials. Then several countries expressed doubts about how well the vaccine works in people over 65. Now seven countries are raising safety concerns.

Denmark, Norway, Austria, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Luxembourg have halted some or all of their AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccinations over fears of blood clots, France24 reports.

Previously, Austria had stopped using a single batch of the vaccine after a clotting issue turned up in one recipient. In the wake of the news, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Luxembourg stopped using vaccines from the same batch, France24 reports. Denmark and Norway temporarily stopped all vaccinations with AZ shots, according to the report.

I am really worried, in my country and the country where I live, they are waiting for this vaccine to arrive, MOH said he won’t give it to us, first we wait and if more countries are stopping using it, then they will stop too.
