Any report of the virus in Pakistan or the subcontinent?
What about Africa?

My little sister told me this morning that Moroccans have returned to Maroc from the PRC and the king ordered his gov't to get the rest of them 'home'. So we will see.

Finland confirms first coronavirus case

BERLIN — A 32-year-old Chinese woman has been confirmed as the first coronavirus patient in Finland, authorities there said Wednesday.

The woman left Hubei province shortly before Chinese authorities instituted a lockdown there last week, Finland’s public broadcaster Yle reported.

Around 15 people in Finland may have had sufficiently close contact with the tourist to become infected.

Finland is the third E.U. member state with a confirmed infection. France and Germany have each reported four cases.

Not many Chinamen in Pakistan and Africa.

Are you kidding me?

The experience of China in Libya in the aftermath of the uprising against Moammar Gadhafi was especially sobering as more than 35,000 Chinese workers from 75 companies had to be evacuated, and Chinese companies lost nearly $20 billion in investments.

And that's just one country.

The death toll is around 3-4K right now. That Chinese nurse said 100k infected a few days ago. So, even 3% means 3k dead. It’s growing.

The 100k were in the hospital because people just panic when epidemics happen, the majority of these people would have been freaking out over a common cold or a fever and would have come to the hospital, which is a big reason why doctors were overwhelmed, which is why people should just stop repeating this nonsence claim that "100k people are infected" like a million times it's getting as annoying as headlines repeating nonsense stories without any evidence to back it up.

Also for people saying the chinese gov is reporting less, do you really think the chinese gov has eyes everwhere like an omnipotent God , I don’t think so, there is so much these people can count and especially when other countries are giving consistent numbers like 2 or 20 cases, do you also think other countries are doing this suppressing of info with china, I don’t think so, diffirent govt diffirent reactions, yet they give consistent numbers.

Now ,according to their counting its

APPROXIMATLY 7000 infected , 1200 in serious condition ,  160 dead and 100 cured from the virus .

In reality the numbers should be ATLEAST 10000-20000 infected , 2000 or 5000 serious, 300 maybe dead and many cured.

The reason why the death count is so low is due to the fact that deaths are extreemly hard to miss, people have been bringing up this nonsence argument that many people are dying in their appartment. The problem with that claim is that people would look for their dead relatives in their appartments if it was a lot of deaths and that would blow up like crazy on social media with videos of dead relatives in appartment floors.

Also people seem shoocked that viruses can survive in the body without symptoms for weeks, I have news for you, litterally a lot of diseases do this, for you know there couls be a worm inside your intestines laying eggs or a brain eating disease reproducing in your brain, this isn't shocking info and people should also stop paranoing about these poeple infecting everyone else, the only real fluid these people will discharge is their saliva, they aren't coughing or sneezing , so they wont really contaminate thousands of people, unless they touch them or kiss them ,this isn't plague inc.

The panic with this virus is litterally comparable to the panic of influenza h1n1 in 2009, I remeber for example egypt ordering mass pig slaugtherings or tv shows in my country showing people walking with nausea and collapsing and the panic went for a year, I litterally changed schools between this panic and then the vaccine came and it all died down.

Anyone seen this ?

The story is about the spread of a virus transmitted to humans by bats and pigs from Hong Kong, which eventually leads to a pandemic.

Omg, my father talked about this movie about I ignored him xD

Anyway, does coronavirus infect animals as well?  I didn’t find any source about it.

I ask Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) to protect everyone from this deadly virus. So much has happened in an entire month, and all we can do at this moment is to ask Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) to hasten the reappearance of His Imam (ajf).

Whilst doing some research, I found that the coronavirus is mostly linked to elderly people in their late 40s and 50s, with a small minority of individuals ages 18-24. All of them suffered from pneumonia. However this disease seems like it has the potential to become more vulnerable and stronger, so it can spread to many others if it continues at this rate.

Me and my mother were talking about this the other day, and she suspects that the US could possibly be behind all of this, which seemed to make quite sense. If you think about it, US and China did have some feud over trade war, with the US not wanting the Chinese government to take over complete power. Maybe Trump wanted to destroy their economy who knows. And this happened around the end of the year, and so did the coronavirus outbreak. Maybe its a mere coincidence, but the US is capable of doing anything just to hold the entire economy into their own hands.

These Chinese people always eat all types of both dead and live animals, so why all of a sudden this virus appeared and from bats?Either way, if this virus truly did come from them, then they obviously have the cure for it.

Maybe America is also doing this because China and Iraq have good relations with trading business, so they want to destroy their economy and have complete control over Iraq and their oil. This is just an assumption im making, but you never know what these hungry power leaders are capable of.

^^^^^l saw Contagion, which is better than 0utbreak(1995) that had a few uncessary dramatics in it.

As l remember, Contagion showed some rioting in it, or at a minimum, public disturbances.

The rioting in America in the 19th Century during the yellow fever epidemic included blocking trains. lf you doubt people can be "real stupid" watch this:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e4i0jtA0jao The news report said what the protesters idiotic idea was, but l can't find it and don't remember having half heard it.

The BBC reported this morning there are 170 deaths, 7711 confirmed cases in China and is now larger than than the SARS outbreak.

@3wliya_maryam My father said the same thing, he keep on saying that America is the one who did it. He even told me that Chinese people always ate disgusting things but they never got sick, why now? I don’t really know.

People in their 40s and 50s are middle aged. People in their 60s and older are elderly. Fifty year old women can still bear children without medical interventions. Elderly people can not.

@starlight  Please help me and us out.

l lived through the Asian flu(1957) the Hong Kong flu, the Swine Flu, another Hong Kong flu. l basically understand the meaning of the script H_N_.

What l do not understand is what makes this novel-coronavirus-2019 such a cause for 'panic'. Can you explain?

Every new year is the same thing, since 2008.

Every New goes like this,

January American and Israel do something crazy in the Middle East or Palestinians.

Terrorists do something  crazy, and a virus breaks out,

Spring break hits, nobody give a flying flock of ducks about it.

All hype. Virus ( insert name ) is just a distraction.

Allah, fasting, blackseeds and dates cures everything but death.

Not necessary. If the case is detected early and the patient is kept in isolation then it won't spread. There's only one confirmed case and few others under watch.

A "one time" animal-to-human "jump", likely bats, RNA-2019-nCoV

lt is nearly certain that bats are the zoonosis for 2019-nCoV. NHK reports that a virus found in bat feces is 96% identical to that found in patients.

lt looks like China is going into lockdown --completely. See today's front page of xinhuanet.com at 'home'.

cruise ship in ltaly has been locked down.

NHK reports that the woman who complained of symptoms and her husband have tested negative. They are two of 750 Chinese passengers on a ship with 6,000.

Also, NHK reports that Chinese hospitals are flooded with 30,000 people per day. There is a shortage of medical supplies and businesses and offices report shortages of disinfectant and price gouging for it. The two hospitals in Wuhan being built will have a 2,000 bed capacity -which NHK said may not be enough.

An NHK reporter in Beijing said there are two words to describe the situation: criticism and confusion. OPINE: the former is normal behavior and the reporter said the governmental information is incomplete or lacking.

The good news is, according to the prediction, we are supposed to be at 16000 infections officially and 337 deaths officially today.

But as of today, there are 213 deaths and 9000 infections officially and thats less then the number for yestetdays prediction, it's not growing as people would have thought.
