Sometimes those negative thoughts we now have are just reminders of abusive language that someone told us when we were young.

This reminds me of a comment l heard earlier this year. lt went like this:

Keeping ourselves in check is a good thing as it can help us to self reflect and work on bettering ourselves which is something we should be constantly striving towards.

We also have to be careful that the negative thoughts or memories of being put down in the past don’t become something our mind latches on too and we start to bully ourselves (which happens more than people realise).

Maybe they didn’t have the resources, knowledge or understanding to ‘deal with it’, times are changing. Also, dealing with something doesn’t necessarily you completely overcome it. Sometimes those emotional scars will remain with a person even though years later they might be thriving so need that extra support to make sense of things.

The age group also have under-developed personalities, have yet to form the "forget it" mechanism, and haven''t structured their value-application systems. That is the majority.

The minority have already assumed "scripts".

Plus most of them are in the show-off one-upmanship stage.

l do not agree with the "times are changing" because that is a leitmotif in every decade.

The video here is better than the one l found on PressTV itself, lMH0.

Referring to this second video, did lRI ever consider making some of its drones in VT0L?

Exactly, I agree with the first part which suggests why they may have not yet developed the understanding to deal with some of the issues faced at that age. However, I do feel it’s important not to generalise, everyone is unique and so is their level of resilience as well personal circumstances.

Times are always changing though and so is the human way of dealing with certain situations. School life was very different in the 70’s for example in comparison to now and so was the way of dealing with things like bullying etc. It will continue to change as time goes on. We now have the added pressure and stress of online bullying and effects of social media.

Social media does not constitute enough difference for "times are a changing" applying to the teenage psyche, lMH0.

What a nice flood of islamophobic comments that tweet has...

There's a bit of history to this.

Verhofstadt is one of the EU's politicians dealing with Brexit and he allowed tv cameras to record his work for a long period, so unlike many other European officials British Brexit supporters know who he is etc. and how anti-Brexit he is.

l know l am old and grumpy, but it all isn't age-related.

So another weekend animal program comes on,and l wonder, "Which is it (this time)? A doggy, a monkey or lemur show?"

Sure enough, it has a monkey in it. With giddy air-headed people watching a monkey climb a tree with a camera strapped to it --the monkey that is.

Find something interesting for your Life before you get old, 'cause you are going to need it.

l worry myself sometimes.

l am watching The Big Bong Theory and l noticed that

at the 99% level, l always understand what Sheldon CooCoo says.

Yet l can get dumbfounded with the other 1%.

For example: Sheldon is talking the academically-challenged Penny (the dumb blonde).

Expressing his apprehension and inherent inability to keep a secret, he says,

that he could fold like "conformational space" and reveal the secret.

And that is the puzzling part, to me.

WHY will a theoretical physicist applying cosmological quantum electrodynamics to gravitational anomalies

use an analogy based in ligands and proteins?

Because he's extremely egotistical. He always wants to show that he knows everything in everything. He once told Amy that he is a more brilliant neuroscientist than her.

Yep, a real show-off.

l had to look-up what 'conformational space' is used for. The folding with the ligand or protein is a binding action, so Sheldon is completely wrong, when in reality if a secret folded in him it will be tightly bound.

The writers messed this one up.

what nice food they are eating in the video!

There is no point even trying to recreate that because without those fresh ingredients it wouldn't taste anywhere near as good.

I like the way the mother is looking on, you can tell it is her recipe the woman is using.

I like Young Sheldon better than Big Bang theory. Missy's my favourite character.

Naahh, "Amy". The delivery and the editing.

Example:

Remember the episode when Sheldon flys to the West Coast to "propose" to Amy?

ln the interim, Amy calls the other gurls and says, " :ranting: I gave you one job !"

This is one of about three times l rocked forward laughing from a TV entertainment program.
