If the recipe calls for poblano peppers, do not substitute serrano peppers!

I mean, it tastes great, but we're all breathing fire now.

On second thought, if spicy food is your thing, this is an excellent substitution.

Reincarnation:

Putin- Imam Jafar Sadiq ((عليه السلام)).

Trump, Syed Khamenei- Imam Hussain ((عليه السلام)).

Imran Khan, Syed Seestani - Imam Ali ((عليه السلام).)

Joe Biden- Imam Reza ((عليه السلام)).

Tayyab Ardgan - Imam Hassan ((عليه السلام).).

Anyone wants to add to the list?

I think it's a shia belief that near the end of time, all Imams will come back and rule over the world. I have always felt that Trump and Imran Khan have spiritual power. How they both won election and they both manage to get out of every crisis. It's because of spiritual power. All of these leaders have blind followers, people who really love them despite their flaws. Whenever I say anything against Imran Khan, people just start talking about Imam Ali ((عليه السلام).) and enemies of Imam Ali ((عليه السلام)) because of his justice.

There is no shia belief like this. How can you compare fornicators and unjust humans with Imams?

@hasanhh see "Ate Eating Will Eat" topic for further details of the poblano/serrano substitution. The recipe was Creamed Poblanos. I had no poblano peppers. I couldn't find them in two grocery stores or the local farmer's market. I had a handful of serrano peppers so I decided to use them in the recipe. It was good, but much too spicy. When milder hot peppers return to my area - or I grow some in my garden - I'll try again.

I read about it few years ago.

How can such people be compared to  Imams? Yes, that bothers me too. Everytime I think about Imam Ali ((عليه السلام)) and Imam Hussain (A. S), I think of Imran Khan and Trump. It's mental torture.

IK, Trump, Modi, Bolsenaro, etc. are all worldly rulers. They don't care for human life, dignity when it comes to power and wealth. No shi'a in his right mind would ever compare these najis rulers with servants of these immaculate Imams (عليهم اسلام).

Does anyone have advice on hatching chicken eggs? Our neighbors' free range chickens left two in our yard, in a location that we know is frequented by a medium sized black snake, so we "rescued" them. I put them in a box with a heating pad, towels, and two thermometers, and the temperature seems to stay steady at 95°F (35°C). Now what?

The embriyoninc states are already terminated. The required temp is 99.5F --l looked it up.

So break and enjoy an omelletto.

I looked it up too. It's supposed to be incubated at 99-102, and I was hoping 95 is close enough, especially knowing that hens will lay 1 egg per day or two, and leave them until she has several. They do just fine without incubation for about a week, so it seems that a slightly lower temperature shouldn't harm them.

Personally, from what l remember, you are better off going to a hatchery.

I put in another towel and now the temperature is up to 100. I'm watching closely and adjusting if needed. Hopefully it will hold. As I understand it, normal hatch rate is as low as 50%, but my daughter will be very disappointed if we don't get at least one chick.

lf she is young enough, tell her if the towel does not work, you will rent an easter bunny.

She's not gullible enough. She's very attentive and has been watching the thermometer herself.

Never compare yourself to people on social media - best hack if someone wants to be a happier person. A lot of people have personal issues which we may be unaware of. It is also possible that these people are missing something that we have. It's just not a good idea to stalk people (we're all guilty of that lol) 24/7.
