So on that note: to each and every reader of shiachat, whether member or guest, I wish that the year 2020 will be full of blessings for you and for the people you love.

Blessings to everyone is my wish as well, especially for those ShiaChat members who forgot to come here and won't know that we still think about them and make dua for them.

I just read a most horrific short story, and now I feel like crying.

l have spent the last 3 hours catching up on the problem -to put it mildly- that Trump and the Pentagon have created with Soleimani's murder-by-drone.

My thought: l wonder what good Trump's evilgelical "spiritual advisors" are doing him now.

"Where is my bed to hide under?" :scarerun:

[l believe most of you can understand written sarcasm at the word terrorizing.]

Aliens exist and it is possible they are among us on Earth, the first Briton to go into space has said.

The chemist, who now works at Imperial College, London, added that although aliens may not be made up of carbon and nitrogen like humans "it's possible they're here right now and we simply can't see them".

Jinn, made from fire?

Not sure if they can be called aliens though?

They were always here?

If I remember correctly the english translation is "smokeless-fire"?

When I was interested in the jinns and how we can't see them and how they are created and can shapeshift, I stumbled upon many conspiracy Alien/reptilian/demon/jinn videos. The common denominator was that jinns where being plasma beings.

" Genie is an English translation of the Arabic term "jinn". The English word comes from the French "génie", which meant a spirit of any kind, which in turn came from the Latin "genius", which meant a sort of personal guardian spirit assigned to each person at birth. The word "jinxed" may very well be related to "jinn". Islam teaches that there are 3 main intelligent life forms: angels, jinns and humans. Angels are made of light. The fifty-fifth chapter "Ar-Rahman" of the Qur'an states that jinns are made of "smokeless fire" and humans are made of clay (like that used in pottery). In modern terms, we may say that humans are carbon-based or water-based, jinns plasma-based (this will become apparent after reading the text below) and angels are photonic life forms. Jinns are believed to have been created before humans and appear to have undergone some form of evolution. In Islam the existence of jinns is taken very seriously and is fully accepted, even legally and even to this day, in Islamic jurisprudence. "

I had a dream that I was at a fancy dinner with a bunch of fancy people, and I accidentally ate a piece of pork. In the dream, I realized while it was in my mouth, but swallowed it anyway. I didn't know or trust the fancy people, but I didn't want to offend them.

I found the dream deeply disturbing. I think it means that simply by being American I am complicit in imperialism.

Also, I gotta take a break from Twitter and disturbing literature. It's messing with my mind.

I think this symbolises a problem with a lot of people in the West. They will tend to compromise on “small” matters lest they are not offending anyone or going against cultural norms, but as we know through Imam Ali (عليه السلام)., that “small” matter could turn very big. I think we all need to build faith and spirituality to overcome this.

The kids are passing around a meme with a map of the US and the text:

" Show us on this map where Iran hurt you." Lol.

too bad it won't post here.

I haven't seen that one yet. Every now and then my son shows me one that I've already seen on Twitter, but usually the younger folks get them first.

So far, entering "on this map where lran hurt you" only brings up S.C.
