Appreciation for brother Ibn al Hussain

Guest Brother IR

Salam,

Given brother Ibn al Hussain has announced he will be leaving ShiaChat, I want to express my sincere gratitude for the quality posts he has made on here. I have not always agreed with everything, but his desire to promote objective thinking, academic discourse (to the limits of lay people on here), and get us actually writing and responding with some sense is worth incredible praise. He has gone to the seminaries and has contributed immensely to this online community. When making counter points, he was one of the few users I felt cared about making sure the discussion was fair, carefully considering all sides and trying to promote deeper thinking, than scoring points.

You have increased my Eeeman brother and may Allah sincerely reward you.

Wait he's actually leaving?

Salam. Ibn al-Hussain posted a status update on his profile: https://www.shiachat.com/forum/profile/19560-ibn-al-hussain/?status=87325&type=status

I can only pray that he is just taking a well-deserved break (he was formerly a Development Team member and Mod/Admin) and will return when we least expect it. InShaAllah
