Combining Prayers

I have a question about the Prayer that im unsure about.
is it permissible to combine the zuhr and Asr together but Not combine the magrib and Isha together and pray it separately.

Or is this not permissible? So if I combine two prayers I have to also combine the other two..? Hope that makes sense.

Yes. Fine to pray like this.

There is no combining of prayers, each one is prayed individually. The time of 'asr starts as soon as dhuhr is completed and the time of 'isha starts as soon as maghrib is completed, so these prayers can be prayed one after the other at the same time but they are still separate prayers.

There is no requirement which states that you HAVE to combine prayers. Its allowed, but its not mandatory. Many people, including myself, pray zuhr at the zuhr timing and pray Asr later...I do the same with Maghrib/Isha...I pray Maghrib at the timing listed on the calendar...but I wait to read Isha later in the night.

Some people I know prefer to use a Sunni calendar for Asr and Isha timings.
