At the time of Prophet Noah ((عليه السلام)) when the great flood occurred the population of the Earth was Ive read to be speculated around 750 million. Taking this into consideration out of those odd 750 million surely not all of those individuals could fit inside the ark as well as a great sum of those individuals were most likely not at the age of cognizance; therefore did they just die in vain, were they somehow preserved, or what was the case in regards to their “innocence” and the evident damnation they were facing, for surely Allah (سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى) does no wrong to any living being in this world and the hereafter.

Alhamdulilah,

The flood was a long time coming. Nuh (عليه السلام). Lived for a very very long time. He received Prophethood at 800 years old and preached to the people for 900 years. The people had become too wicked in their ways. Nuh (عليه السلام). only  ended up having 88 followers aboard the ship. According to the holy Imams Allah prevented the women from having children 40 years before the flood took place. So there weren’t any kids. Allah didn’t take away the innocent. The entire world society was wicked with unbelievers and Allah flooded everything and thus we begin what I would call the second age of man.

Not true. <---period !

Ayat 7:172

And that iffy subjunctive "were most likely" does not 'save' you from the error in your post.

[Comment: it is after 0430hrs trying to find this as l unfortunately did not have this in my reference notes :dwarf:"But l do now!" ]

@AbdulKarim313_Austin/Nola Here is why l disagree:

Primary: Ayat 53:44

Secondary: Ayat 91:15

Releated: Ayats 35:11 & 37;  Ayat 22:5; Ayat 6:147

Alhamdulilah,

May Allah shower his blessings on Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم) and his family.

Alhamdulilah, you can find all of this information in a book called Hayatul Qulub: volume 1 stories of the Prophets. It is one of my daily favorites after the The Holy Qur'an. Our Holy Imams go into very specific details about many of the Prophets before Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم). starting with Adam (عليه السلام).

My favorites which I consider the most extensive in information are stories especially dealing with Adam (عليه السلام). and the beginning, Also Nuh (عليه السلام). Because he is the second father of humanity after Adam. Da’ood (عليه السلام). Etc. You can find online version of Qulub on Al-Islam.org.
