I wonder how we're going to feel about Senior Trump in 20 years, when time fades our emotions. Would he be seen like Richard Nixon? Bad, but nobody really cares?

Very likely. I'm pretty old and that seems to be the way of things.

Yep, another President eventually buried under the compost of history.

l think the boos were other members of the stadium directing their disapproval towards the chanters. l have seen this before in other stadium seens.

The other thing that happened Sunday is when 0ld Bone Spurs said al-Baghdadi "died like a dog" "crying" and so forth. l was more disgusted than laughing.

^ Multiple folks who were there at the fame said it definitely was directed at the President. People were cheering when members of the armed forces were displayed on the big screen, then it turned to boos when Trump was displayed on the screen, then returned to cheers when the camera switched back to the servicepersons.

Yep. Kinda like Hillary doing her " We came, we saw, he died".  What is wrong with these people? They are not private citizens. Inappropriate behavior.

Did you notice its eyes?

Definately indicative of SPD [serious psychiatric disturbance]

Don't care much what people think of Trump. Let him drain the swamp, expose the reptiles.
I get a kick out of him, he's hilarious. Twitter is his laser pointer and the Dems are all cats.
How many more will fall before they find anything on Trump they can use?

If they don't impeach him, for sure he gets reelected. I'm going to laugh even harder. Trade you for Trudeau any day.

He isn't draining the swamp and he often acts like he has the moral compass of a reptile ( my apologies to snakes everywhere). But the Dems need to focus on issues.

Don't be thinking I'd defend his character but I do like what's happening in the States since he's taken over. He's a businessman, and a mild one compared to some of the executive meetings I've been in. Don't you find it ironic the Dems get to watch him receive the bi-partisan justice award?

No because twenty Dem members and twenty Republicans created the Center that gives it out. They have to pick a Republican sometimes. They gave it to Kamala in 2016. She didn't deserve it either.

Kinda like the Nobel prize went downhill.

This is how they swept Virginia on Tuesday the 5th. According to Vox the Dems concentrated on the 'Green New Deal'.

And Medicare for all. And accountability for police brutality. And expanding school lunch programs. And getting ICE out of our local jails.

Chaos, and he's a failed businessman. Starting with his dad's money, he managed to go bankrupt how many times? I'm a more successful business-person than little Donnie.

^ I understand that Virginia might now be the needed  38th state to ratify the Equal Rights Amendment.

Hope so.

Forgot to mention another big one: abolish "right to work" laws, which very severely restrict unions and give employers the right to fire anyone without cause or warning. (Should be called "right to fire".)

He can't even run a casino. Oops...did I just say something without posting a trigger warning?

As long as you don't say that on Twitter or Facebook you should be alright. I don't believe Don has many fans here on shiachat, just a few apologists. The Trump-trolls love Facebook, because that's where we gullible old people hang out.

Chaos since he became prez, but where did all the divisions come from? You can trace it all back to democrats desperate to impeach him before they get caught in one scandal or another. They are falling like flies, Trump is still there.  I would have thought by now...

Not much about him I do like but America is not headed for bankruptcy, it's economy is improving. I like that he's not a war monger.

I understand that on the day he was recorded as telling a guy "You can grab them by the..." every woman in America pressed her knees together and shrieked, but he wasn't talking about every woman in America, he was talking about gold diggers, that of which were plentiful in those days, and certainly not limited to Trump. I am amazed his biggest fight is still Stormy Daniels. I would have thought by now they'd have him on all kinds of sex offences and off shore deals. He's not even in the Panama papers.

He's still worth billions and has stuff all over the world. Walt Disney went bankrupt 7 times before finding his fortune.

Walt Disney didn't start out with his dad's millions.

I do appreciate that he hasn't started any new wars, but it's not from lack of trying.

"The economy" is a euphemism for "the difference between rich and poor". Rich people are getting richer, but most people's lives have not improved, most people's resources have not increased. Salaries have been stagnant since before Trump was in office so we can't blame him, but the claim of improvement is a lie and we can and do blame him for his lies.

No, man, you can trace it to his campaign promises to further divide the population. He ran on a platform of "us while males" against everyone else and he's delivered on the promise to divide us.

The blue collar white people who voted for him are just deluded. He would dispose of them as easily as anyone else that doesn't advance his megalomania.

Not just Dems

After D.J.T. won the General Election, the Bushies and other Republican establishment figures put-out-the-word 'if you ever want a political future, do not work for Trump'.  lf you remember, Trump could not find many experienced people to agree to hold appointed office or on White House key staff, that is why he used his family.   This morning, somewhere, in conformance with this Establishment Line, the Wall Street Journal ran an opinion piece highly critical of Trump. Historically, the first time WSJ ran a political statement it was headline news and made the nutwork broadcasts(90s). Since Trump took office, they print politicals quite often.

For all this to occur, other than drug-money influence, there is something crooked and nefarious going on with the insiders.

He could care less what he says to the media. He keeps them busy counting lies. That was the laser pointer comment.

The division isn't just Trump. Larger more serious demonstrations are going on all over the world. Canada's last election draws a line right down the middle of Canada. They west is working on separating. No matter who is in charge, the leader of the opposition's job is to oppose absolutely everything.

He's definitely not beloved of the Establishment Republicans. Look at what happened with the snubs at the Convention. He was a non conventional candidate in a race in which people wanted non conventional candidates. The Democrats scuttled theirs.

If they could drop him down a mine shaft and replace him with Pence, they'd be happy. Sometimes I think the Establishment Dems and Repugs are holding hands under the table on this whole Impeachment thing.

Except that it could blow up in their faces.
