You have been the forefront of my faith in the face of ignorance and islamophobia across the west.

You have represented 1.8 billion Muslims throughout the western world. 

You have faced numerous looks, gestures and attacks simply because you're wearing the Hijab. 

You have had your scarves pulled, spat at, physically assaulted just because of your Hijab.

On behalf of every single Muslim male, 

I Thank You for your sacrifices. 

I Thank You for your patience in the face of such ignorance. 

I Appreciate your stand and strength. 

And I Promise that if I witness anyone wrong you, I have your back and I will defend you no matter what.

As well-intentioned as this is, my immediate thought was that this is a Muslamic version of those cringey Male-feminist "allies" who end up getting friend-zoned. Or in this case, brother-zoned.

lol I assure you there's no intention of any 'zone' in this post. 

Having family and friends go through abuse because of the hijab ever since 9-11, I felt it's very important to pay respects and recognise the hardships our Hijabi sisters go through on a daily basis.

Guys who feign "respect" for women only so girls find them attractive are like those random stranger guys on social media who send messages asking if they can chat with you to become "friends". Guys who are truly respectful don't play petty games.

Also when guys complain about the friend one or brother zone, they just make themselves look bad.

Nice post, but I would rather use the correct term which is muhaajiba. The term 'hijaabi' makes no sense in Arabic, and is often used with negative connotations by ignorant Muslims in the West.

@MahdavistI would have used 'Muhajabat' to refer to the sisters in hijab but iv'e been advised by a mod to use English in a previous post.
