Leaderships of Hezbollah and Amal movement in Beirut warned on Wedesday against repeated riots and provocative violent acts, calling on political parties in Lebanon to be aware in order not to be dragged into sedition.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA):

In a joint statement the two leaderships in Beirut denounced offences against several religious and national figures.

They said that Lebanese political parties should be aware enough and avoid propagating rumors in order not to be dragged into sedition.

Hezbollah says supports govt. capable of rescuing Lebanon economy

https://en.abna24.com/news//hezbollah-says-supports-govt-capable-of-rescuing-Lebanon-economy_996981.html

December 28, 2019 - 5:15 PM News Code : 996981 Source : IQNALink:

Hezbollah supports a new government capable of quickly carrying out essential reforms in the cash-strapped country of Lebanon as further economic deterioration, including the risk of sharp currency devaluation, would exacerbate social tensions, an official with the Lebanese resistance movement said.

“The upcoming government has our support and we hope it saves the country because it is going to include competent scientific, administrative and political figures,” he said after a Hezbollah delegation met with Maronite Patriarch Beshara Rai in Bkirki area northeast of the capital Beirut on the occasion of Christmas.

“The government must include specialists in order to garner the parliament's approval, and to be able to carry out its work in light of regional and international complications,” Sheikh Amro added, according to Press TV.

He noted that Hezbollah did not suggest yet any name for the cabinet, saying, “We are waiting for the prime minister-designate [Hassan Diab] to contact us. It is still early to talk about names.”

Sheikh Amro highlighted that Hezbollah “worked hard” for the re-designation of Hariri but he withdrew from the premiership race.

The new government “will not be one-sided and will serve Lebanon and its economy,” he said.

Diab has vowed to form a government made up of “independent specialists,” who do not belong to political parties.

This very short article:  https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2020/01/Lebanon-protesters-the-revolution-coming-back-200114163141823.html  is two days old.

Banks were attacked. PBS News Hour -West reported that depositers are limited to monthly withdrawls of $1000.

There are two videos. ln the first the reporter said the protests have turned "into a riot"; and in the following video, near the end, the reporter said that protesters claim the politicians are using the security forces "as their own personal force". She also said "the rage is rising".

"Beruit turns into a battleground . . ."

PBS News Hour is behind the news cycle. For Saturday, 377 people were injured plus 142 police also nijured. The report above reports over 500 injured in the first two days.    https://www.pbs.org/newshour/world/beirut-braces-for-more-violence-after-night-of-riots

From the two reports, one says 460 injured and the other, France24, reports 530.

This report does not have the injury reports for the third day and says 530 in two days. A little clearer.

There are reported "crisis talks".

So what are people in Lebanon protesting? Poverty? What do the protestors specifically want?

Anything that torments or kills people who refuse to believe in what the Devil says in their New Testament -to write it politely. That is why Lebanon is a sanctuary for crooks, money laundering, bad loans, religious and political repression, fixed political systems and so forth. Same in lraq. lRl is next -back to a shah-in-terror.

Would they not be eastern subjugation policies if the crooks, money launderers, political repressors and fixed political system were all managed by eastern figures?

The government appears to be Shia, Sunni and Christian. Do you think the government is a corrupt covert Western puppet government?

Professed religion, which ever one, is not absolution for doing wrong.  l do think it is a 'corrupt cover' for Western and Eastern interests, and likely for South America also (Ukaine has this problem).

Iran congratulates Lebanon on formation of new government

Quote

“Forming the government in current regional and international conditions according to the demands of the Lebanese people is a positive step towards tackling the problems in the country,” said Mousavi in a statement on Sunday night.

“We hope that the new government could fulfill the demands of the Lebanese nation which have great achievements in resistance against occupation and tyranny,” he added.

The Islamic Republic of Iran hopes the new Lebanese government, which has been formed based on the nation’s demands, would overcome all challenges and materialize its plans for the development of the country and for creating security and welfare, said the spokesman.

He went on to say that Iran fully backs the new Lebanese government and is ready to further expand bilateral ties with the country.

The new government, which consists of 20 ministers, is led by the newly-appointed Prime Minister Hassan Diab, who has been the frontrunner for the position for weeks. Describing it as a rescue government, Diab said the new cabinet does not represent a political group or party.
