Prayer while sitting down

Salaam

I recall reading in one of Ayatollah Sistanis books that if one needs to pray while sitting down due to illness, each rakah has to be prayed twice. I tried to find it again but don’t remember where exactly I read it. Does anyone have a link to the fatwa?

Salam I can't find such fatwa but in Farsi fatwa he describes sitting prayer same as normal prayer only thing that is important is that trying to stand between Ruku & Sujud as much as possible for who performs the sitting prayer and for Ruku in sitting he must bows until his face will be in front of knee .

No, there is no such thing.

Would not be fair for disabled people :)

You probably read the method for offering nafilah of `isha, which is performed while sitting and in which two rak`a replace one rak`a standing.
