What is understood of the term ‘Loyalty’ between a husband and wife, if Islam has permitted for the man to marry four wives ?

My question is clear and it is in relation to loyalty within marital relationships only.. I will elaborate furthermore in case it’s not understood.. 

If a man is allowed to marry more than one wife.. how then can he claim to be a loyal person? What can we understand from the Qur'an / Islam in general when it comes to loyalty / faithfulness? 

I hope my question is clear..

Fulfilling obligations.

A loyal husband will not leave his wife destitute while he has plenty. He will not allow her to become homeless, without food, without medical care, or any other necessary of life, so long as he is able. He will not fail to be the head of the household with all the responsibilities it entails.

Further, he will guard her secrets. He will not talk bad about her to others. Spouses are meant to be as garments to each other - protection and concealment.

There is no reason a man with two or three or four wives can't be a loyal husband to each wife, except his own weakness and lack of character.
