This whole peotests in Iraq, Lebanon and Iran is only escalated due to enemies of Islam finding opportunities to pour gas on the fire. This isn't about Iran or Iraq's sovereignty or gas prices. They,

What's the worst that can happen in the wordly sense? One can die. What's better for Akhira than dying on the ziyarat of Imam al-Husayn (عليه السلام)? Don't give up the chance. Who knows if we might ev

I think best for Iraq would be to split the country in three new countries. One predominantly Sunni Arab, the other predominantly Shia Arab and the last one predominantly kurd.

You answered it yourself. The variable here isn't safe or dangerous conditions it's the purity of intentions.

So people should stop going for Hajj?

Do not avoid visiting the grave of Imam Husayn ((عليه السلام).) even during the days of prohibition. And one who visits him (his grave) in fear (of the enemies), Allah will give him refuge from the great fear of Qiyamah and he will gain reward proportionate to the fear. And the one who fears due to their fear, Allah will bestow him a refuge under the shade of His empyrean while he shall remain along with Imam Husayn ((عليه السلام).) and shall be protected from the fear of the day of Qiyamah”.

Imam Jafar Sadiq ((عليه السلام).) urged Muawiya b. Wahab,
‘O Muawiya! Never abandon Imam Hussain’s ((عليه السلام).) visitation out of fear. Don’t you want to be amongst those with whom the Holy Prophet ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم).a.) will shake hands?’ (Kaamil al-Ziaaraat, pg. 118)

Acceptance of Hajj has very strict conditions for acceptance not just purity of heart.Just like prayers...

If it is so sensible for people to go for ziyarat when there is upheaval in a country , the Iranian government wouldn’t caution its citizens not to travel to Iraq for ziarat during protests...

Anyway I am glad the brother was sensible enough to make a wise decision not to travel when situation is not safe...

Very silly advice. Lots of people go for Hajj and die in Hajj and end up in hell. We have hadiths that say most hajjis are like animals circulating the Ka’ba ...

Please tell us more about your role in deciding which Hajjis end up in heaven and which ones 'end up in hell'!

I think it's clear who's giving 'silly advice' here.

Ever since the Abbasid dynasty, the Shia have faced dangers and even persecution and death for going to Zyara. Did they stop? No. Did the Imams tell them don't go? No. In fact we have dozens of authentic and undisputed narrations of the Imams reiterating the importance and blessings of the Zyara of Imam Hussain (عليه السلام) in this life and the afterlife.

The Shia had their limbs and heads cut off for going to Zyara and it didn't stop them. Because simply going to Zyarat Imam Hussain (عليه السلام) the Father of the Free ابا الأحرار is a stand against oppression and injustice.

Throughout the generations, oppressors have stood in the face of Zyara because it keeps the message of Imam Hussain (عليه السلام) and justice alive and they failed. The Shia have always chanted

لو قطّعوا أرجلنا و اليدين

نأتيك زحفاً سيّدي يا حسين

Even if they cut our legs and arms,

We will come to you crawling O Master Hussain.

So whilst millions are blessed with the Zyara in a spot that's been described as a piece of heaven by our Imams,

You can stay home.

According to the Ahl al-Bayt News Agency (ABNA), Abna has released an enlightening video in cyberspace that reveals the malicious plans of the enemies of the Iraqi people.

In the video, which appears to have been filmed in recent days, someone claims: They took us to the basement of the shrine (martyr Hakim), closed our eyes, half of them were Iranians, and shocked us with electric shock.

A person who had previously claimed that he was imprisoned in the shrine of the martyred Hakim today says that the clip that was aired before was not correct, but some people told me to say it because it had to be chaos in Najaf.

In recent days, social media networks have been spreading public opinion in the city of Najaf Ashraf in response to the false news of the arrest of a number of Iraqi citizens at the shrine of martyr Hakim in response to the false news. Following these allegations, some members of the Iraqi High Commissioner for Human Rights went there and declared: The place was fully searched and no one  was detained there.

Threat Analysis:

https://news.un.org/en/story/2019/12/1052641   Tuesday,03Dec19

"Protests and civil unrest show 'renewed sense of patriotism' in Iraq, UN envoy tells Security Council"

UN Special Rep: Jeanine Hennis-Plasschaert

The action point for this 'threat to the West' is in the leader:

.     After decades of sectarian strife and conlfict, "a renewed sense of patriotism has taken hold", the head of the UN Assistance Mission for lraq (UNAMl) told the Security Council on Tuesday."

---mostly laments over the violence (opine: probably delivered with crocodile tears)

---the "accumulation of frustration" is the root cause

---ln sum on one point: lraq's political leaders are non-performers

---At the end, the provokative "Now is the time to act"

Editorial: Like previous rhetoric by the UN War Council, this provides PR cover for interventionist initiatives. Body count going up!

Shahidul Mehrabs mausoleum burnt up by cheering "demonstrators".

Why would a man who was assassinated 17 years ago with a car bomb by baathists and salafis for his stance against them have his mausoleum burnt up today?

There are reports that protesters have been taken into his shrine and are being tortured there by certain people. There is also video evidence that militiamen guarding his shrine using live ammunition.

Many police chiefs and tribal leaders are trying to negoatiate between those in charge of protesting his shrine and the protesters.

It is good to bring two sides of the story.

Evidently live ammunition was needed as you can see from the video with the place set on fire.

The situation had been ongoing for several days and the gate had been torched by infiltrators more than once.

The armed group inside affiliated with Ammar Hakim were shooting live rounds at protestors several days prior to the incident. Not after the torching of the gate as has been suggested.

Law enforcement had their weapons withdrawn and couldn't do anything to protect the protestors in Najaf. Several had been killed. Also, a young girl living nearby was killed by a stray bullet.

Armed group targeting protestors:

Law enforcement standing and watching whilst protestors are shot at with live rounds by armed group.

Notice them sat helpless having food and drinking tea whilst protestors face live rounds..

What's exacerbating this Fitnah is the fact that these armed groups operate with impunity and not even law enforcement can stop them. Infiltrators are also another problem but they aren't tolerated and are often chased by protestors once identified.

How do you know the burning happened before live ammunition was used? And who are these people in dishdashas holding AK47s firing at people? Are they security forces? No. Who gave them the permission to do this?

Personally I have not seen proof of such a thing.

I think burning is wrong, but I think the Government needs to take over the security of this shrine and search it completely, and not leave it to a bunch of militiamen to guard it.

What l find interesting is the first video Moalfas posted just above,

Notice these young guys are heavier than the middle-aged men protesting. (Western high fat restaurant food)

Second, near the end of the video is one of them in gray sweater/sweatshirt. He walks into view and then breaks into a 'double time' military movement. Notice he appears to have the "marijuanna breasts" that many young men in Amerika have.

So, compare this video with the protesters in the others.

Many of these problems would never happen in many Western countries, because they have a much better safety and security policy etc.
US has not allowed Iraq on one hand, and on other hand of course many are corrupt and traitorous from top to bottom.

Paid people or people who are happy to kill civilians because of some kind of extremism is just one of the offender types and risks which do need much work for the coming decades

@Moalfas   Your video posted has one -maybe a second- tracer round. In a uniformed-colored(white vehicle) convoy, driving around and apparently shooting into the air.

This is a psyop trying to instill a somehow-maybe-if-l feeling into the populace, one primary effect is to increase the number of inactive people.

Worry about an unknown and you stand still.

Ayatollah Sistani calls on protesters to counter violent

https://en.abna24.com/news//ayatollah-Sistani-calls-on-protesters-to-counter-violent_991702.html

December 6, 2019 - 3:59 PM News Code : 991702 Source : Press TVLink:  Ayatollah Sistani calls on protesters to counter violent

Iraq's top cleric has said that violence and chaos will only hinder true reforms as demanded by ongoing anti-corruption and economic protesters in Iraq, calling on demonstrators to counter violent rioters.

Addressing worshipers during Friday prayers in the holy city of Karbala, Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani said protests are effective in hastening needed reforms on the condition that they "are not drawn to violent acts, chaos and destruction."

"Conserving the peaceful nature of the protests and keeping them far from violence and destruction is very important and everyone needs to unite in achieving such," a representative of Ayatollah Sistani said as he delivered the top cleric's sermon.

The top cleric added that the protesters should not allow rioters to infiltrate the rallies and target "security forces and destroy public and private property" just as protecting the lives of protesters is the responsibility of the security forces.

During his statements, Ayatollah Sistani also said that a new prime minister must be chosen "without any foreign interference" and partisan politics after the incumbent Adel Abdul-Mahdi tendered his resignation a week ago.

"We hope a new head of government and its members will be chosen within the constitutional deadline" of 15 days since the resignation was approved in parliament on Sunday, Ayatollah Sistani said.

Iraqis hold mass rally in Baghdad to back religious

December 5, 2019 - 3:35 PM News Code : 991608 Source : Press TVLink:  Iraqis hold mass rally in Baghdad to back religious

Iraqis have taken to the streets of the capital, Baghdad, in a show of support for the country’s religious authority, who has demanded peaceful anti-government protesters distance themselves from saboteurs.

The demonstrators marched to Baghdad’s iconic Tahrir Square on Thursday, demanding that non-peaceful protesters be sidelined during the ongoing protests against the economic woes.

They were chanting slogans and waving placards reading, “Death to USA.”

In a Friday prayers sermon read by his representative, Iraq’s most prominent Shia cleric Grand Ayatollah Ali al-Sistani urged protesters not to allow attacks on people and their property.

“It is imperative on peaceful demonstrators that they separate their ranks from non-peaceful individuals and cooperate on shunning saboteurs — whoever they are — and not allow them to abuse peaceful protests to damage and attack the property of citizens," he said.
