l couldn't watch the video.

l read yesterday that the algorithms used for bank loans now are not understood or readable to loan managers.

So, in this 'light', Al does not "surpass" human intelligence, but "swamps" it.

[ to swamp = to overwhelm resulting in sinking]

Eventually yes, human intelligence is essentially the network of nerves in the brain. The brain is focused on a billion other things rather than your concious thoughts, which is why learning and such is 'difficult' relative to AI. AI is very purpose specific and since there is no need to process any survival data like a brain does, (just give it a power source and thats it) it will become superior, multiplied. I am not a fan of AI as I think it will be bringing a wave of problems but thats just the real truth to it.

So I’ve always been a firm believer that AI can never possess consciousness, it can never ‘understand’ the way that humans do (see- Chinese Room Experiment). But this video opened my eyes. What if AI is only a cover for the djinn?

Why would the jinn use AI when they could have used any other means from the past? Statues, robots etc. They could even appear as themselves or take different forms.

If they used AI they would need to stop them operating properly in order to take control.

His view is nothing but wild and baseless speculation.

Transhumanism , AI and the End of Humanity.

Yuval Noah Harari is a historian and an advisor to Klaus Schwab, co-author with Thierry Malleret of COVID-19: The Great Reset, and head of the World Economic Forum.

Again, I think the biggest question in maybe in economics and politics of the coming decades will be what to do with all these useless people?

The problem is more boredom and how what to do with them and how will they find some sense of meaning in life, when they are basically meaningless, worthless?

My best guess, at present is a combination of drugs and computer games as a solution for [most]. It’s already happening…

I think once you’re superfluous, you don’t have power.

– FROM A TRANSCRIPT AT RIELPOLITIC ALEXANDRA BRUCE, “BRAVE NEW WORLD: YUVAL NOAH HARARI ASK’S, ‘WHAT TO DO WITH ALL THESE USELESS PEOPLE?’,” (MAY 17, 2022)

...But there’s another side to all this — probably a more important one: Harari considers free will a “dangerous” myth, a point on which neurosurgeon Michael Egnor has taken issue with him here. On the contrary, Egnor argues, denial of free will is a cornerstone of totalitarianism: “Without free will, we are livestock, without the presumption of innocence, without actual innocence, and without rights.”

But then, it’s not clear that, given his intense, dramatic focus on “useless,” “meaningless,” and “worthless” people, that Harari is far off from totalitarianism anyway.

Why does he keep saying "surveillance under the skin"? What does that mean? Why would they monitor people's blood pressure and heart rates? Of course they are interested in people's thoughts.

To have good, healthy-enough slaves (before AI takes their job).

Yes this too.

I watched his other lectures. He said technology can be used to detect emotions in brain like anger, sadness, etc.
