Most of the time it so they can self-assert themselves for no practical reason.

Their basic programing is the 3 T's: Temper Tantrum Time.

Are men supposed to go through a lot of hardship in controlling their urges? Does Islam want that unmarried men should suffer great difficulties in staying chaste or should they be able to achieve this target quite easily?

Islam is meant to be easy and Allah does not test anyone with a burden greater than he can carry. If someone is unmarried and is going through very difficult struggle to avoid sins, he inshaAllah will be rewarded by Allah, but is that struggle desirable per se? Ofcourse Allah wants the unmarried to maintain chastity but does Allah want the men to suffer and go through extreme hardships and mental and physical torture to achieve this goal of pre-marital chastity? The ideal situation would be where the unmarried person neither commits any sexual sins, nor even thinks about haram sexual thoughts - have a completely unfulfilled sexual desire - but despite all this, he faces no difficulty or hardship at all. The aim for the unmarried would be to become such that despite having a  natural sexual desire, they neither commit any sexual sin nor do they get slightest bit frustrated, irritated or troubled by the unfulfilled desire. The way to achieve that would be to "kill" the desire by practising pre-marital Islamic celibacy (fasting). If the desire is killed, obliterated, wiped out by fasting to the point that no sexual urge frustrates the unmarried, that would be a great achievement. In fact, when an unmarried man avoids sinning, Allah can bless him by giving him a sort of pleasure which he alone will feel in his heart.

So I think that the best and most ideal situation and the ultimate goal for the unmarried should be complete sexual abstinence with absolutely no frustration or difficulty in remaining chaste -  rather the unmarried should have a feeling of divine pleasure and serenity and comfort in their hearts bestowed upon them by Allah's limitless mercy.

beware of sweet talkers as such, those who agree with women are generally the ones that women end up whining about later in life. Women cannot have real men, because real men have particular tastes and they generally get bored of women quickly. Also women can never please real men.

women will whine about everything, including happiness.

If one does not attend to a female she will whine, if he does attend, she will whine. She will whine because she is not getting what she wants from him. Therefore she is a selfish. I wonder which thinker wrote this, can a female love more then two?, will she love the child or the husband more?. in fact she would have to chose one over the other or she would fall into disarray.

I have a bit list. But my low testosterone tells me I better use my time wisely then play the games of a female.
