Mini rant - Why can men not control themselves?

@Marbles I agree with so much of what you've said in this thread. But I want to add that when a woman is timid, soft, feminine, men aren't interested in her, because they want the career driven, financially independent woman. I and other women I know, love being at home cooking, sewing, doing arts and crafts, but God forbid we should say this in public. And I'm not boring, I have a degree, which had helped me raise my children. I.e. being educated.

When I opted to work part time, the most hatred and resentment came from other Muslim women. It's funny how you mention that men are attracted to feminine women... Where are these men? The men I've encountered seem to like butch women, you know, the masculine types. I wish I could express my femininity, but I'll get eaten alive if I do... By other women...some of the worst of creations.

You got to play your part and go out and spend PKR 10,000 a day on food that will give you stomach ulcer, and therefore sacrifice yourself for the good of your people and the country.

Why do women decide to become strong, independent career women? 

You cannot break someone's heart in a million pieces and then expect them to care about you. You can force a woman to live with you in an abusive marriage, but you cannot force her to love you.

It confuses me what these obviously confused women want. When men act soft, they mock men for their masculinity. When men act tough, they start their "women are this, women are that, women can do this, men are ____ and etc." chants. I'm going to use the words of my brother marbs, if each side understands their true and traditional domain then there should be no problem iA. Unfortunately, we have some excited-electron-like women nowadays who get too excited and jump to spaces that aren't originally theirs. Then, once they have to return to their spot, they release this blast of energy to the world.
