Salam, Sister. Others have replied with good answers. Please don't stay alone at home. Go out and take a walk. See what is in your neighborhood. Do you want an education, to go to a technical college or university? Would you like to do research on the kind of jobs that you are interested in? The world awaits you. You will meet people where ever you go.

In the 1980s, this is where people went to meet other people. [EDIT: Night Classes.] This is where l found my first fiance`e  --in a class l took.

Thanks 'Mother Hen', a good idea.

Salam,

Hope you are feeling better now. When I feel like this I go on al-Islam.org and read some books or articles(basically read and read until my brain is fried,in a good way :p) . It's not only uplifting in the long run but also keeps me from having negative thoughts during the low period.

All easy read, short chapters^

- Reciting verse (21:87) is also very good.

God is always with you, no matter where you go. See the Holy Qur'an:

And certainly We created man and We know what his soul whispers to him, and We (are) nearer to him than (his) jugular vein. Surah 50, ayah 16.
