Wouldnt it be better to  let the decision be left to kashmiri to decide what they want.

Lets discuss KASHMIR of Pakistan side ..

I don’t know much just google expert gave me some information which I just want to verify ....

Gilgit Baltistan ..

Islamabad has also been systematically suppressing the people of the region who are mostly Shias and are facing an influx of Sunni population from other parts of Pakistan.

It says there has been increasing frequency of suicides in the region, adding that over 300 youths, both boys and girls, committed suicides in Ghizer district alone since 2000. "One major reason for committing suicide is unemployment"

In a reflection of the situation there, Abdul Hamid Khan, leader of Balawaristan National Front (BNF), a prominent political party of the region, in a letter to then UN Secretary General Ban Ki Moon on March 14, 2016, said: "There is no legal, constitutional, judicial mechanism in place in Pakistan occupied Gilgit-Baltistan to protect people from human rights violations."

"Many political and religious people have been prosecuted in Gilgit-Baltistan jails without giving them access to legal, constitutional redress options or high court and Supreme Court," he wrote to Moon.

There has been increasing sectarian violence between Shias and Sunnis. The Shias felt threatened by the large influx of Sunnis from other provinces, particularly from Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Gilgit-Baltistan was part of Jammu and Kashmir at the time of Independence
Pakistan illegally allowed property rights to outsiders in Gilgit-Baltistan in 1970s
Pakistan has pushed Sunni settlements in Shia-dominated Gilgit-Baltistan.

Kashmir has problem with non Muslim

baltistan...??????

To be fair, whole country is of Allah (عزّ وجلّ) neither Shias nor Sunnis own any land but Allah alone. If people are coming there, then also Gilgiti are migrating to other parts of Pakistan. Apart from social problems such as unemployment have you addressed any thing that Pakistani Army or Civilian Departments are targeting Gilgit population like Indian Army in Kashmir. Just recently I read that 80,000 children are orphaned and 6000 collective graves have been identified in Kashmir which reminds me of Bosnia.

As far the prime minister's letter to UN, it seems to me a hoax. No one listened him complaining on media, no press conference and no protest. He is prime minister, if he wants, he can upgrade his region in no time. Perhaps if the letter is truth then he is equally accountable for same as if he were refrained from doing anything good for his people, he should have resigned in protest.

Ayatollah Hadavi Tehrani condemns Indian government's brutal aggression against Kashmir

Ayatollah Hadavi Tehrani has issued a statement on condemnation of Indian government's brutal aggression against Kashmir.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA): Grand Ayatollah Hadavi Tehrani has issued a statement on condemnation of Indian government's brutal aggression against Kashmir.

The full text of the Assembly’s statement is as follows:

In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

For what sin were they killed?
{The Holy Qur'an: Surah al-Takveer: Verse 9}

Kashmir in India, with its faithful and suffering people, is part of the vast Muslim community. For several weeks, its innocent people have been subjected to unprecedented and brutal attacks by the Indian government in the shadow of the deadly silence of the world's media. Shocking news, coming out despite heavy censorship, are much painful and regrettable.

How does a government in the modern world allow itself to violate the rights of a large group of citizens and to invade their lives and properties?!

How can a government attack a part of its territory in a barbarous and violent way and regard it a step towards the return of 'past glory' to Kashmir?!

Undoubtedly, the free people, especially Muslims all over the world, must prevent the continuation of this shameful abuse in every possible way and express their disgust at the harsh behavior of Indian government.

Free governments, especially Muslim States, must join hands and urge international and regional organizations and assemblies to put an end to this crime and restore the rights of the oppressed people of Kashmir.

"And those who act unjustly shall know to what final place of turning they shall turn back" (the Holy Qur'an: Surah: Al-Shu'ara: Verse 227)

Ayatollah Nouri-Hamedani: People in Kashmir must stand for their right

Iranian cleric Grand Ayatollah Hossein Nouri-Hamedani has urged Kashmiri people to firmly stand for their right, assuring them that the Islamic Republic will support them in this regard.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA):

“If you want to secure your right, you must be prepared for martyrdom and fight,” said Ayatollah Nouri-Hamedani on Saturday, during his meeting with a group of Kashmiri students studying at seminary schools.

“Our government, the Leader [Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei], all of us will help you,” the top cleric vowed, stressing that Kashmiri clerics, in particular, must be prepared to sacrifice their lives if they want to obtain the people’s right, reminding them of Iranian clerics who were marching in the front lines of protests during Iran’s 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Ayatollah Nouri-Hamedani also urged the student to set Imam Hossein (peace be upon him), the Third Shia Imam and the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), as an example for their cause.

Iran ready to assist Kashmiri civilians

The president of Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) expressed readiness of Iran to provide humanitarian aid to the affected civilians in the recent developments in Kashmir.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA): The president of Iranian Red Crescent Society (IRCS) expressed readiness of Iran to provide humanitarian aid to the affected civilians in the recent developments in Kashmir.

The President of IRCS Ali Asghar Peyvandi sent two separate letters to the heads of Red Crescent Society of India and Pakistan regarding Kashmir crisis.

He wrote that the Kashmir crisis and the latest developments in the region have raised many concerns about the civilian situation, adding that the IRCS is ready to cooperate with Indian and Pakistani Societies in this regard.

Jammu and Kashmir have been under a near-complete lockdown since Aug. 5, after India scrapped its special status as the government has blocked communication access and imposed restrictions to thwart any protests in the region.

Several rights groups including Human Rights Watch and Amnesty International have repeatedly called on India to lift restrictions and release political detainees.

Indian authorities, however, claim that daytime restrictions have been lifted in 90% of the region.

From 1954 until Aug. 5, 2019, Jammu and Kashmir enjoyed special status under the Indian constitution, which allowed it to enact its own laws. The provisions also protected the region's citizenship law, which barred outsiders from settling in and owning land in the territory.

India and Pakistan both hold Kashmir in parts and claim it in full. China also controls part of the contested region, but it is India and Pakistan who have fought two wars over Kashmir.

Iran's Zarif says concerned about situation of people in Kashmir

Iran's Zarif says concerned about situation of people in Kashmir

Foreign Minister Mohammed Javad Zarif of Iran has expressed concern about the current situation of Muslim people in the Indian-controlled Kashmir.

Zarif made the remarks on Sunday in a meeting with the visiting Foreign Secretary of India Vijay Keshav Gokhale in the Iranian capital of Tehran on Sunday.

The top Iranian diplomat expressed hope that the situation would improve for the Muslims there.

Zarif also said Tehran and New Delhi have been expanding cooperation in various sectors, calling for further strengthening of relations.

India's Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan said in July that the country's relations with Iran are not influenced by any third party, as the US tightens the screws on the customers of the Iranian crude oil.

"India's bilateral relations with Iran stand on their own and are not influenced by India's relations with any third country," he added.
