So yesterday I was praying(not dream) and for my dua I said please God make me stop doing this one thing(one sin I do a lot) give me more chances but give me a warning to when I should stop.

The following day I went to sleep and I had a dream that the moon started fading away while I was watching it and then it came back again and it had a ring around it like saturn and everyone was sure that the world was about to end in my dream. I woke up in the morning to go onto the news and I saw that an asteroid had just barely missed hitting the Earth and that scientists were shocked and that it was very close. What does this mean please?

So this happened last night

Quote

A RARE black supermoon is happening tonight as the second New Moon in a month makes an appearance.

The event will see the moon "disappear" in the night sky, making the skies especially dark.

The Black Supermoon is the product of a Black Moon and a Super New Moon occurring at the same time.

Experts have forecast it for this Wednesday evening during which time skies will appear to be totally devoid of any moonlight.

Would be most interesting if this phenomenon with the moon somehow impacted your REM sleep.

Also some fun trivia, the word "lunatic", from the Latin lunaticus (of the moon/moonstruck) was used to describe mental illness caused by the moon. It was believed that the moon influences epilepsy and neurological diseases.

Of course this has long since been dismissed though some still argue it can affect our mood:

I realise this doesn't answer your question but found it interesting to share.

Now that he gave you the warning, maybe the next thing you should do is to ask God to show you a way to stop what you are doing.

Allah is telling you to stop as others have stated, but remember, YOU have free will and must discipline yourself. Allah cannot make you do anything...... And you probably don't want Him too force you to do something because the best way to force someone to change is make them go through a horrible experience that forces them to change.. You gotta take responsibility and hold yourself accountable. Maybe get an a close friend to be a accountablilty buddy or force yourself to drink apple cider vinegar every time your repeat the sin. It's not easy, I know, truly, but you have the ability to change!

Where do you live if I can ask... It could be related to black magic. Stay healthy and safe.

May Allah and Ahlul Bait (عليه السلام). make you firm and lead you toward a non sinning path. Ameen...

Just whatever you do..never stop being ashamed or doing astaghfar. Doesn't matter if you keep falling for the sin just keep coming back and eventually you will be able to leave that wrong path insha'Allah. Remember that Allah forgives all sins.

Assalamu alaykum.

This means that your oppurtunity is going to be missed when you are waiting.

The moon is Islaam, and the world that is going to finish is yours opportunities to quit your\yours sin\sins to be clean in front of Allah.

Do not waste time.

Salam moon doesn't represent Islam & it's a false conclusion because Sunni mosques use crescent as their symbol just because it comes from Arab peninsula as other aspect of Arabic symbols that they think that these symbols are representing Islam although these symbols are driven from pre Islamic culture of Arabian peninsula.

If they were aware that the black super moon would occur the night before then the dream probably occurred due to them knowing that because what we experience the day before stays in out subconscious and we can dream about it even if it wasn't a major thing for us...

:salam:

in All interpretation about fading moon  the westerner interpretation says it's spreading rumors & bad news that destroys society and returning it is good news & uncommon shape of moon is sign of arguing in family

The Prophet Daniel (عليه السلام) said: If you see that other people, including a loving father, brother, or sister, they will inform you in any way that the resurrection is near or in the process of being established, that is, the Almighty God will spread goodness of blessings and righteousness.  and eliminates many troubles and plagues, and you will be comforted and secure, if people in that city or the land deprive the poor and oppress other people of this class , They will suffer from great suffering , or if they are oppressed, God will help them against the oppressors. And several other Iranian interrupters have said about the interpretation of the dream of ending the world if you are oppressed you will overcome oppressor, , or if you are suffering from depression , you will get rid of suffering and hardship.

First: the king.
Second: the Minister.
Third: maiden and mate.
Fourth: Boss.
Fifth: honor and dignity.
Sixth: The slave girl.
Seventh: Servant.
Eighth: void work.
Ninth: Governor and Ruler Governor.
Tenth: a corrupt and evil scholar.
Eleventh: greatness & leadership.
Twelfth: Mother.
Thirteenth: Father.
Fourteenth: Woman.

Explaining dreams is very tricky as there are many variables that come into play when trying to figure out if the dream means anything or not.

According to narrations of Ahlul Bayt (عليه السلام) those variables include:

- The day it occurred: some dates in the Hijri calendar month suggest more significance where as others suggest less significance for a dream.

- The time it occurred: If a dream was right before Fajr for instance, it bares more significance than a dream during an afternoon nap etc

- The Tahara state: if one dreams whilst asleep on Wudhu and Tahir bares more significance than one who dreams whilst in Janaba for instance.

That's why explaining dreams is no easy task.

Wow this reminds me of a passage from the Injeel involving Isa al Masih.
