I like your new avatar, uhty.

Did you change it after getting a 'sugar high' from eating or reading these 'favorite cakes'?

"Just wondering."

Here in the US most chocolate is 70 to 86% dark, I guess. I never knew that it could be 100% dark. Does 100% mean that it has no sugar?

No.

For a decent article, easy read, https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/324747.php

USDA findings are near the bottom.

Thank you for the medical news article about the benefits of dark chocolate. It is very informative. Dark chocolate is healthy for you, but some doctors recommend eating only 1 ounce (approximately 28 grams) per day. I'm sure we all know that moderation is the key. :)

A cake from the Black Forest area in Germany, made with chocolate, cherries and Kirsch which is a cherry liqueur. I assume this isn't in the ShiaChat Black Forest cakes.

It's the milk to cocoa content ratio I think.

Really if you want to benefit you should add cacao powder to your shakes. Who thought cacao and cocoa could be so different.

If you find pure 100% dark, should have no added sugars. Should basically be processed cocoa beans. :)

That is what I thought. Eating too much of that would be too much caffeine?

I suppose it depends on what you compare it to but yeah it would have more caffeine than the lower percentage dark chocolate.

100g of cocoa has 230mg caffeine (according to some sites) :p
