Assalamalaikum

I remember hearing during my youth that jinns would take one's aqeeq ring if it was left unattended long enough

I lost my ring a few days and I am having a hard time finding it

Is it because of a jinn? If that is the case, is there anyway to get it back or is it lost forever?

Thank you.

I don't know if that person who told you this was pulling your leg, or if he was just seriously confused.

I have never heard anyone say that Jinn's steal aqeeq rings. I mean, why would they even do it? To sell it? If they could steal something, why don't they steal your money or car keys or something like that?

Habibi, you probably just forgot it somewhere.

Hmm. As far as I've read, Jinn are in a totally different dimension that the extent of their influence is whispering. I haven't read anywhere that can physically manipulate things.

When I lose something important to me, I ask Allah to help me find it and I try not to worry, basically just being patient with my feelings about it. Helps me so far. =) Perhaps this is just a test of patience. Or perhaps you're supposed to ask Allah for help. Or both.

So you're telling me, that if I left an Aqeeq ring in an empty room on a table unattended, it would be gone after sometime? Lol

In all seriousness most of the time it's just plainly lost. In fact recently I lost my Hadeed-Cheeni for about a week I thought it was gone for good and it was quite sad. Then it just turned up while I was cleaning the house. Just like that.

Salam Alykum,

Jinn has no power over you, they can’t possess you in any shape or form they can’t enter our world but they can see it and you and we can’t enter their world and we don’t see it or them so the only thing they can do is influence you like a wind passing by. How ever you can have a good Jinn with you as long as you don’t serve any God but Allah ALONE! And do not associate anything or anyone with Allah. For every human born there is a jinn born at the same time , you either invite fahsha in your life or Allah’s Noor in your heart.

As for the ring! Let’s not idolise it. Not worth worrying about it. Just like anything else if it’s meant to be lost then it is better for you. But don’t create or believe in stories unless you are certain you have Allah backing you up on it.

Hope I shared my opinion
