Asalamu Alaikum all,  Have you ever heard of the ingredient red 40? I am hearing it is haram as it may come from a kind of beetle, whereas I also read that it may actually come from coal instead. I’m not sure if it is halal or haram. You can find this ingredient in M&M’s for example and other candies and sweets.
