Narrated Muawiya, he said: The Messenger of Allah stood up (on the pulpit; as an orator), and said:

“Indeed, before you from the people of the book, were split into seventy two sects.

And indeed, this nation will split into seventy three sects - seventy two in hell & one in heaven — and they're the Jamāʻah.”

(1. Authenticated in Majmū' al-Fatāwā, volume 3, page 345. 2. And in Al-Iʿtīsām, volume 1, page 430. 3. And in Takhrīj al-Ih'iyā, volume 3, page 199. 4. And Al-Mustādrāk, volume 1, page 128).

The Messenger of Allah said: Indeed, he who died on the love of my Ahlul Bayt, died on the Sunna & Jamāʻah.

(Tāfsīr Al-Qurtubī, volume 18, page 468).

Thus, we’re the real Ahlul-Sunnāh wāl-Jamāʻah, and so we’re the fīrqā nājīyah (the saved sect/party) that the tradition speaks of. Now, you might tell me, that our mukhālīfeen (the people that you’re asking about) also love the Ahl al-Bayt. Love is to follow (and imitate) the person that you love, in his prayer, laws and jurisprudence, not to follow A'bu Hānīfā, Mālīk, Ahmad or Al-Shāfiʻī, and forsake their teachers, the Holy Imams.

If they really loved them, they would’ve followed them in their prayer, laws and jurisprudence. But, they don’t do that. And so, they don’t really love them.

While we’re the ones that follow them in their prayer, jurisprudence, laws and everything else. So, we’re the real followers of the Holy Prophet, fīrqā nājīyah, Muslims and Ahlul-Sunnāh wāl-Jamāʻah.

Ayatollah Khamenei’s fatwa: Insulting the Mother of the Faithful Aisha is prohibited
Jun 11, 2016 Print
Ayatollah Khamenei issued a decree wherein he prohibited insult towards Aisha, the wife of Prophet Muhammad ((صلى الله عليه وآله وسلم)), and any of the figures and symbols celebrated by Sunni brethren.

http://english.Khamenei.ir/news/3905/Ayatollah-Khamenei-s-fatwa-Insulting-the-Mother-of-the-Faithful

“Shiites should defend Sunnis’ social and political rights before defending their own rights, and we call [everyone] for unity,” Ayatollah Sinstani adds. “As I have said before, Shiites should not call Sunnis their brethren, but their ‘souls.’

“We should attend Sunnis’ Friday prayers more than Shiite’s. We do not discriminate between Arabs and Kurds, and Islam has collected all of us [under common umbrella],” he asserts.

Thanks for the work, but..  this isn't what I was looking for. I was wanting fatwa on Sunnis (are they kuffar?) from Shias.

They are treated as Muslim according to the mainstream opinion today but they will end up in Hell due to their disbelief in the usool and dharooriyat of the religion. That is the opinion amongst the fuqaha today.

Some fuqaha back in the days ruled them as kafir and najis in this world and the afterlife.
