Wet dream while fasting

Recommended Posts

Guest dodododo

Hello, so today I woke up at 4am ish and realised I had a wet dream, I was very tired and so I didnt have a shower. In the morning I forgot about it and I just remembered it now and had a shower. It is nearly iftar, was my fast void? If you keep in mind I am under the age of 16 and this is my first month fasting. Shukren

So having a wet dream invalidates your fasting? What if you took a nap while you were fasting in the day (many people do that) and had a wet dream then?? You have no control over it...

Posting this ruling here is misleading.

Linked below is a pdf that will iA answer your question. It is called "Fasting & Ramadhan Guide – 2017" and is by the well-respected alim Sayyid Muhammad Rizvi.

Please go to page 9 of this pdf file (or page 7 according to the actual numbers of the document...it's the section about the rules related to the private parts...): https://al-m.ca/wp-content/uploads/2017/05/S.-Rizvi-Ramadhan-Guide-2017.pdf
