Dream

Salaam Alykum Everyone,

Not sure if I’m posting this under the right topic but I’ll be grateful for any help / insight into my dream. 

In it, I was told to recite Surah Ayn 30 times... I have tried looking at numerous sources etc but can’t find a Surah Ayn.... 

Can Ayn mean something else? What is the significance of 30? 

Any help will be much appreciated.

Well Al-Ayn is the evil eye, and there are surahs in the Qur'an which are recited to protect us from the evil eye, Surah An-Nas and Surah Falaq. As for the number of times recited, whether it is literal or symbolic, I don't know.

Salam as I know  the most famous surah for avoiding from evil eye is 

وَإِن يَكَادُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا لَيُزْلِقُونَكَ بِأَبْصَارِهِمْ لَمَّا سَمِعُوا الذِّكْرَ وَيَقُولُونَ إِنَّهُ لَمَجْنُونٌ

Indeed the faithless almost devour you with their eyes when they hear this Reminder, and they say, ‘He is indeed crazy.’ (51)

Sister, do you remember what you read ? It could have been Surat al falaq and Surat alnas

When any of you sees a good dream, then go ahead and interpret it and inform others of it, and if you see a bad dream, then neither interpret it, nor inform others of it.
