I’ve heard rabbits bring jinn but I have one. Not sure about hamsters though.

Salam it is permissible because it isn't a najis animal

I had a guinea pig when I was 8 but then we had to give it away because my stupid little brother wouldn't stop chucking it outside from the cage

Is that why you're so obsessed with the peppa pig show? Lol

I had a hamster that lived for 2 years with me! It's such an awesome pet to keep because it doesn't need much effort to take care of like a dog or a cat. I wouldn't advice you to get a guinea pig, they eat a lot and poop more.

The answer is very simple, as an obligatory precaution, you can’t keep at home any animal whose fur can invalidate your prayer, that goes for dogs, cats and whatever else. The hair of an animal should never be on one’s clothing during the prayers as it invalidates them. As far as I understand, the hamster isn’t shedding a lot of hair (correct me if I’m wrong) everywhere, so it shouldn’t be a problem. But remember, urine, graces and blood of hamster is najis (ritually impure).
