Things are tense again. I have heard news of a missile strike but the news isn't confirm yet, but I can suddenly hear lots of jets taking off from the Air Base. I really wish Modi would come to his senses.

@Marbles any updates form you. You have lands in the area where India was/is planning to strike. How are things there?

Looks like he is there with his handheld stinger.

As airspace has opened up so there must have been an understanding reached with others involved.

any one relates this situation to ghazwa e hind?

happening of Ghazwa Hind before reapperance has no place in Shia hadiths ,it only it mentioned that India & china will conquer by Army of Imam Mahdi (aj) by defeating their leaders after reappearance

Regarding the conquest of Hind, Ka‘b said: “The ruler in Bayt al-Muqaddas will dispatch an army to Hind and conquer it. Then that army will enter the territory of Hind and it will send the treasures there to the ruler of Bayt al-Muqaddas. He will also embellish it (Hind) and the kings of Hind will be brought to him as captives. The eastern and western lands will be opened for them and the forces will be present in Hind till the emergence of ad-Dajjal.”42

There were lots of jets flying and keeping watch but no resumption of hostilities from India was noted. Rajasthan-Bahawalpur border is an international border and any attack would have been a declaration of war.

I don't think India seriously planned to attack. They must have discussed it and sounded the threat to keep Pak on its toes but starting a war at this point would be suicidal on the part of the Indians.

Modi will be buried (read burned) deep into the woods in the coming elections Inshallah.

A must read piece on the reality of Kashmir situation by a retired Indian colonel....

Quote

Kashmir is in a perilous state because of India’s pivot to nationalism

Nerendra Modi’s refusal to speak to the separatists and his party’s anti-Muslim agenda fuel a vicious cycle of violence and retaliation.

The wider story in a crisis with such potential devastation, involving, as it does, nuclear powers, is that the Modi government has launched a nationwide anti-Muslim agenda that regards Muslims as unpatriotic, Pakistan as a cunning and implacable foe and Kashmiri separatists as its willing tools.

In the narrative of the...Hindu nationalist BJP, all violence in Kashmir is blamed on Pakistan. To be sure, Pakistan has inflamed the separatist movement with diplomatic and moral support, weapons, training and even jihadist fighters sent by the army to serve “tenures” in Kashmir.

Yet the wellsprings of Kashmiri separatism are indigenous and sustained Indian mismanagement means Pakistan now needs to do little to keep Kashmir burning. Successive governments, including the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance that ran India from 2004 to 2014, are guilty of neglecting the province. However, Modi’s has made neglect into a strategy.

Modi seeks to tire out the Kashmiri resistance. This involves refusing to acknowledge the political root of the Jammu and Kashmir problem, treating it instead as a mere security issue that is best managed by giving the security forces a free hand.

Kashmiri separatist leaders and the young people who come out on the streets at their behest are considered Muslim traitors, rather than the manifestation of a political problem that has to be discussed and resolved, not militarily crushed.

Modi’s hard line on Kashmir and Pakistan dovetails conveniently with the BJP’s “Hindutva” ideology, which rests on the notion of a Hindu culture and civilisation and, therefrom, a consolidated Hindu vote bank. Towns, villages and campuses across Kashmir simmer with resentment at Modi’s encouragement, or at least toleration, of a profoundly anti-Muslim agenda. Young Kashmiris point to militant gau raksha (cow protection), initiatives such as ghar wapsi (reconversion to Hinduism), regulations preventing Muslims from praying in public and the “love jihad” bogey that propagates a narrative of Muslim men feigning love to Hindu women to convert them to Islam.

There is an acute awareness of the discrimination faced by Kashmiri youth who seek work outside the state, such as difficulty in renting houses and even targeted violence after incidents such as the recent suicide attack. These anti-Muslim themes are reinforced by lack of economic opportunity and the absence of political engagement, which causes estranged young people to pick up the gun.

Young Kashmiris point out that three Indian prime ministers held face-to-face negotiations with leaders of the separatist Naga insurgency, which has consequently stabilised. However, not one top Indian leader has talked to Kashmiri separatists, even though the conflict there has been far bloodier on both sides. The reason, it is commonly believed, is that Kashmiris are Muslims. In the politically conscious Kashmiri mind, this validates the “two-nation theory” that led to the creation of Pakistan, based on the apprehension that Muslims would be discriminated against in Hindu-majority India.

Middle East is No Friend of a Pakistan Willing to Preserve Its Religious Harmony

Pakistan has become a hotbed for proxy war, being led by Saudi Arabia against Iran, but Islamabad ignores this and looks away, perhaps due to its economic dependency on Saudis and their allied partners in the Middle East.

India refuses visas to Pakistani Ajmer pilgrims

Quote

India had refused to grant visas to Pakistani pilgrims intending to attend the Urs of Sufi saint Khawaja MoinuddIn Chishti at Dargah Ajmer Sharif in Rajasthan.

Five hundred Pakistani devotees were to leave for the neighbouring country on March 7Radio Pakistan reported.

The religious minister argued that the step was a manifestation of the extremist face of India, which had become hostage in the hands of radicals.

Despite New Delhi’s warmongering, Islamabad on February 25 approved ten-day visit visas for around 3,000 Sikh pilgrims who wished to take part in the Vaisakhi Mela.

Pakistan has granted visas to at least 5,600 Sikh and 312 Hindu pilgrims in 2019.

I hope the recent event be an excuse/opportunity for Pakistan to flush terrorism out of their country. War would be devastating.

Salam it has no problem many people don't know about it because it's not mentioning  in words of Shia speakers & Sunnis from both Wahabist even whose Sunnis that are against whabism just want to start a war between Pakistan & India before reappearance of Imam Mahdi (aj) based on their version of Hadith because opposite of Shias they put high weight on it instead of fighting with Israel they prefer this war because they believe this war (Ghazwa hind) will force  Imam Mahdi (aj) to advents between them because they don't have duas & connection through it like as Shias to Imam Mahdi (aj) but they seek for his advent based on their belief & Hadiths that distorted by many people.

Today, we face the prospect of being put on the blacklist if concrete steps are not evident to what will undoubtedly be a sceptical FATF audience in June. These groups and their existence on Pakistani soil have become much more than a nuisance and an embarrassment.

It is quite clear that none of them should have any presence here. The finance secretary’s remarks need to be absorbed fully and earnest action against proscribed groups must be taken immediately to eliminate the scourge once and for all.

Beijing has refused to confirm a former Pakistani air force officer’s claim that China-made JF-17 fighters were used by the Pakistan Air Force to shoot down Indian military aircraft.

Less than two hours after the claim was made on Wednesday morning, the share price of the state-owned plane maker’s sister company rose in trading in Shenzhen.

The Chinese defence ministry did not respond on Thursday when asked whether JF-17s were involved in the Pakistan-India clashes.

Instead, ministry spokesman Ren Guoqiang said: “The most urgent and important thing is both India and Pakistan should keep restraint.”

Pakistani PM slams Zionist leaders for violating international law

Pakistani PM slams Zionist leaders for violating international law

Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan says Zionist leaders are violating international laws simply to win an election.

The Prime Minister in a tweet said that 'when leaders in Israel show a moral bankruptcy in their readiness to annex occupied West Bank in defiance of international law, UNSC resolutions for votes; don't their people feel a sense of outrage and wonder how far they will go simply to win an election?'

In the tweet, PM Imran also criticized India for not solving the long standing dispute of Kashmir between Pakistan and India.

Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has said that he would annex Zionist settlements in the occupied West Bank if he wins another term in office, a last-minute pre-election promise likely to enrage Palestinians.

Earlier Pakistan had strongly condemned the US Administration’s decision to recognize Zionist Regime’s occupation over Syrian Golan Heights.

At first I did not know there was a war going on between Pakistan and India because I don't watch the news.

However I have connections to Pakistan Air Force. I have a relative on a high post that once even took charge of the country's whole army as an emergency task back in the late 80's and flew F 16 fighter jets. So I have experienced fighter jets at very close range and things most people do not get to see when I visited Pakistan last time in 1991. I think that instilled my interest in aviation from a young age and I considered joining the Belgium Air Force
