Tehran slams PGCC’s interference in Iran’s internal affairs

https://en.abna24.com/news//Tehran-slams-pgcc’s-interference-in-Iran’s-internal-affairs_993103.html

Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson dismissed a statement issued by the (Persian) Gulf Cooperation Council that has raised allegations against Iran, and flatly rejected the council’s baseless claims on the three Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA): Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson dismissed a statement issued by the (Persian) Gulf Cooperation Council that has raised allegations against Iran, and flatly rejected the council’s baseless claims on the three Iranian islands in the Persian Gulf.

In remarks on Wednesday, Seyed Abbas Mousavi dismissed the statement issued at the 40th summit of the (Persian) Gulf Cooperation Council (P)GCC) and certain anti-Iran comments made at the summit in Riyadh.

“The repetition of groundless allegations in that statement results from the political pressures from a few members of the council, which have made every effort during the past couple of decades to prevent promotion of multilateral cooperation,” the Iranian spokesperson said.

“With their short-sightedness throughout these years, not only have they (certain PGCC members) allowed for the plunder of the neighboring countries’ wealth, but they have also paved the way for further interference from aliens in this delicate region,” Mousavi deplored.

“A small number of the council’s members are willing to ruin opportunities for cooperation, provided by our country for the purpose of creating security and stability in the region, by keeping up their unwise policies,” the Iranian diplomat said, urging other regional countries to stand against such policies.

Highlighting the Islamic Republic of Iran’s responsible behavior over the past years, Mousavi referred to proposing a non-aggression pact, the Regional Dialogue Forum, and ultimately the Hormuz Peace Endeavor as just part of Iran’s efforts for materialization of regional cooperation.

The spokesperson then called on the few countries supporting the continuation of unwise policies in the region to explain to the region’s public opinion what measures they have taken to ease regional tensions other than creating and strengthening terrorist and Takfiri groups in Iraq, Syria, and Yemen, or allowing aliens in the Persian Gulf.

“The countries whose irresponsible meddling in other countries has led to the massacre of innocent citizens, from women and children to the elderly, and has resulted in the spread of insecurity and terrorism in the region, are attempting to evade the consequences of and international punishment for the blatant violation of international laws and their war crimes by pinning the blame on others,” Mousavi said.

The spokesperson further underlined that the three islands of the Greater Tunb, Lesser Tunb and Abu Musa are indispensable and eternal part of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s territories, adding, “Our country regards any claim on those islands as interference in its internal affairs and its territorial boundaries, and strongly condemns it.”

Saudi king urges Persian Gulf Cooperation Council to ‘confront’ Iran

Saudi king urges Persian Gulf Cooperation Council to ‘confront’ Iran

In a highly hostile rant, Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has called on Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to “confront” Iran, blaming Tehran for what he called “aggressive actions” that endanger regional peace.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA): In a highly hostile rant, Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has called on Persian Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries to “confront” Iran, blaming Tehran for what he called “aggressive actions” that endanger regional peace.

“Our region today is passing through circumstances and challenges that require concerted efforts to confront them as the Iranian regime continues its aggressive actions that threaten security and stability,” the monarch said during the 40th GCC summit in Riyadh.

Echoing the rhetoric of Saudi Arabia’s allies, Israel and the United States, King Salman accused Iran of “deception” over its nuclear program, urging the world community to address the Islamic Republic’s nuclear activities as well as it conventional missile program.

Riyadh and Tel Aviv are among the few staunch critics of a UN-endorsed nuclear deal signed in 2015 between Tehran and the five permanent members of the UN Security Council.

Amid an intense lobbying campaign by the pair, the US abandoned the deal in May 2018 in defiance of UN Security Council Resolution 2231 and many reports by the world body’s nuclear watchdog confirming the peaceful nature of Iran’s nuclear work and Tehran’s full compliance with that deal.

The UAE’s Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan also did not join the meeting. He was replaced by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, vice president of the UAE and ruler of Dubai.

Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani also turned down the Saudi monarch’s invitation for the event. He was instead represented by Prime Minister Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani.

Relations between Riyadh and Doha have been mired by a 30-month diplomatic dispute.

Saudi Arabia — joined by Egypt, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates — imposed a land, naval and air blockade on import-dependent Qatar in June 2017, accusing Doha of supporting terrorism.

Backed by its vassal states in the region, the US has since been attempting to militarize the Middle East’s key waterways under the pretext of confronting what it calls Iranian “threats” to regional peace.

Washington and its allies have blamed Tehran for a number of attacks on oil tankers in regional waters, with the US launching a push to create an international coalition of allies under the guise of protecting the shipping lines of the Persian Gulf.

An observation/judgment: the biggest threat to Iran is not the West, but its so-called "friends" Russia and China. Russia is friendly with Israel, opposes Iranian influence in the MENA, and has long pushed for the federalisation of Syria via the new constitution, against the wishes of Assad, Hezbollah, and the IRGC. China, contrary to its best interest(s), also backs Pakistan against Iran in Afghanistan, even though the ISI finances and arms the Wahhabi Uighur militias, along with the Afghan Taliban and other anti-Iranian groups. The Taliban are clearly going to win in Afghanistan and then serve the same role as in the 1990s: as a base for Wahhabi activities vs. Iran. Additionally, even India is now siding with Pakistan, the Wahhabi Gulf States, and the West vs. Iran, given that Modi’s Hindutva is linked to Zionists and Wahhabis via Anglo-American intelligence. Unsurprisingly, once again the IRI stands alone, as it did from 1979–89. This, along with the usual reformist fifth column inside Iran, is probably why reliable hadith may indicate the (initial) success of the Sufyani vs. Hezbollah, Iraq, and Iran, prior to the revealing of the Hidden Imam.

Salam you misunderstand the hadith ,that hadith says Sufyani will defeat a coalition of Turks & Romans that maybe it will be Turkey & Russia coalition also Sufyani wont engage in war with Iran &Yemen coalition until he conquers Iraq that in his war with Iranian &Yemeni coalition he will defeat with half of his army for first time because the other half his army is swallowed by Earth  between Mecca & Medina that he sent them to help weak monarchi of KSA for defeating Imam Mahdi (aj) because KSA monarch became weak from inside struggle that before conquering Iraq he won't face Iran & other Shia militants.

At least two political dissidents have been killed in Saudi Arabia when regime forces raided a village in the kingdom’s oil-rich and Shia-populated Eastern Province, as a crackdown led by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman against pro-democracy campaigners, Muslim preachers and intellectuals continues unabated in the country.

Local sources, requesting anonymity, said security forces stormed into al-Anoud neighborhood of the provincial capital of Dammam, located about 400 kilometers (250 miles) east of the capital Riyadh, on Wednesday afternoon, triggering an exchange of gunfire with local residents.

The sources added that two opposition figures were fatally shot in the process.

Over 2 million Yemenis suffering from cholera, Saudi siege exacerbates problem

The United Nations had announced that 2.2 million suspected cases of cholera have been registered in Yemen, between the beginning of the outbreak in 2017 until mid-November 2019.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA): The United Nations had announced that 2.2 million suspected cases of cholera have been registered in Yemen, between the beginning of the outbreak in 2017 until mid-November 2019.

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) of the United Nations said in a statement that it has supplied two centers for treating diarrhea in Hodeidah province with medicines and other supplies, with the support of the Japanese government.

Last October, the World Health Organisation announced that it had registered 913 cholera deaths in Yemen during the period from the beginning of 2019 until the end of last September. The organisation said in a report that a total of 696,537 suspected cases of cholera have been detected in Yemen in 2019 alone.

The organization added that “children under the age of five constitute 25.5 percent of the total suspected cases of cholera.”

According to the organisation’s statistics, 305 districts out of 333 districts in Yemen have been reported as having a cholera pandemic.

The organisation had previously announced last August, that it had recorded 2,000 deaths as a result of the disease between when the cholera pandemic began to spread quickly until the end of April 2017.

Egyptian Researcher: Hebrew Translations Of The Qur'an By Jews Are Distorted; Muslims Must Produce An Alternative 'Islamic' Translation As An Act Of 'Academic Resistance'

While the anticipated audience for the book is Israeli, the project’s initiator and publisher is Jordanian. The translation was published and released by Bayanat, an independent center for the study of Islam located in Amman.

The work of translating the text was given to Subhi Ali Adawi, an Israeli-Arab educator from the village of Turan in the Galilee.

“Translating is not just replacing some word or other with the equivalent word in the target language. It also means that the spirit of the language is relayed,” Adawi told Al-Monitor. “The Qur'an has long, winding sentences, but it also has well-formulated ideas. It is incumbent on the translator to maintain the cohesiveness of the text. Not one of my predecessors preserved the original structure consistently. Some of them used biblical language and forced some connection or other with the Bible, even though the Qur'an stands alone as an independent text. There is no subjective intervention whatsoever in my text. I didn’t add a single word and didn’t try to paraphrase anything.”

The first translation of the Qur'an into Hebrew was completed by a German Jew named Hermann Reckendorf in 1857. Adawi considers this pioneer work to be an affront. Reckendorf claimed that the stories in the Qur'an were stolen from Jewish scriptures, and that the Arabic is of inferior quality. In 1936, a new translation by Joseph Joel Rivlin (father of Israeli President Reuven Rivlin) was published. Another translation, this one by Aharon Ben Shemesh, was released in 1971. The most recent — and most accessible version to date — was produced by Uri Rubin a decade ago and published by Tel Aviv University Press.

Shukran

A nice 'to read'.  The political context described is the same as l had on a course on lsrael 40 years ago.

As to Rivlin, l never was aware of him before. His influence as described is the same as Walter Scott's lvanhoe on the ante-bellum South in the American Civil War. [ante-bellum from Latin = 'before war'. Mark Twain wrote about this, among other writers] He was a romantic arc in zionist political architechture. And a very accomplished translator.

0n page 48, it refers to Kinnus Project as an effort to link new lsrael into the Arab World. That is okay, but l find this 'geographically challenged'. My reasoning is that at the opening of the 20th Century, this was part of the Ottoman Empire -Turkish. Also, the area in discussion is the eastern Mediterranean, which would encompass the bedouin, Hashemites, tribes, Druze, Syrian Christian, Copts and so on. Limiting it to a poorly defined "Arab World" creates unnecessary problems.

Thanks again.

Top Saudi court hands down life term to imprisoned Shia dissident

Top Saudi court hands down life term to imprisoned Shia dissident The Supreme Court of Saudi Arabia has sentenced an imprisoned political dissident from the oil-rich Eastern Province to life in prison.

Human rights sources, requesting anonymity, said the court passed the ruling against Mustafa al-Khayyat over his active participation in protests in the Shia-majority Qatif region since 2011, the Arabic-language Mirat al-Jazeera news website reported.

The sources added that the court has initially handed down the death sentence to Khayyat, a local resident of Tarout Island, following a number of hearings that started in July 2017.

The report further noted that the sentence was issued on the basis of confessions extracted under duress.

This comes after on February 24, a court in Saudi Arabia sentenced one Saudi citizen to death and seven others to jail on trumped-up charges of treason and spying for Iran.

Saudi-owned al-Arabiya television news network alleged that the death sentence was handed down to a person who was "proven to have leaked confidential information to Iranian intelligence."

“The confidential information which was leaked affects Saudi national security and includes intelligence on two foreign embassies, such as their entrances, exits, and security presence,” the Dubai-based broadcaster claimed.

High-ranking Hamas official’s health deteriorating in Saudi jail: NGO

Quote

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The health condition of a high-ranking official of the Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement, Hamas, who is currently being held at a detention center in Saudi Arabia has reportedly deteriorated as his family, his group and Amnesty International have called on King Salman to order his immediate release....
Mai al-Khudari, in press remarks to the Palestinian Information Center on April 15, called on the Saudi monarch and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to swiftly free his father and brother, and send them back to Palestine.

“My father and brother are innocent, and we call on Saudi Arabia to take quick steps to pardon them and other Palestinians who were arrested with no guilt,” she said.

She also expressed her family’s great concern over the health condition and the lives of her brother, especially in light of the spread of the highly contagious new coronavirus.

On March 22, Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Hamas political bureau, in a letter addressed to the Saudi monarch pleaded with him to make a quick decision and order the freedom of Palestinian detainees in Saudi prisons.

“In light of the pandemic of the novel coronavirus that has spread across the globe, due to fears for the lives of our honorable brethren and given all humanitarian and religious considerations … the release of the Palestinians becomes a humanitarian and national necessity. We are all confident that His Majesty will not hesitate to do so,” the letter read.

Dr. Khudari and his son Hani were arbitrarily arrested on April 4, 2019 and remained in detention without charges until March 8 this year.

The human rights group further noted that Dr. Khudari and his son were brought before the Specialized Criminal Court (SCC) in the capital Riyadh on March 8 as part of a mass trial of 68 individuals on trumped-up charges under the so-called counter-terror law.

Khudari has been living in Saudi Arabia for over 30 years, and represented Hamas between mid-1990s and 2003 in Saudi Arabia.

His son is a also university professor and has no political affiliation. Both men have had no legal representation since their arrest.

Meanwhile, Mohammed Nazzal, a member of the Hamas political bureau, wrote on his Twitter page that 65 Palestinian detainees in Saudi jails were denied family visits during Eid al-Fitr holiday, which marked the end of the holy Muslim fasting month of Ramadan.

He added that each Palestinian prisoner was allowed to talk over the phone with his family for only five minutes.

I'm not trying to curry favor, but if Saud's version of Islam was the only one that existed, I probably never would have looked deeper into Islam and likely would still be a Christian.

The Saudis worked with Israel's mossad and the CIA to take down the Twin Towers and then blame it on Al-Qaeda in Iraq, providing the justification for Cowboy George to invade and get America in to a war that's been going on for nearly twenty years (matter of fact, next year will be the 20th anniversary of Cowboy George's invasion of Afghanistan).

I don't like these people because I don't like having my nationality attached to "Oh YOUR military is always invading and making war..."

It's not my military. I have literally zero control over what the federal govt of the US does and I wish that more people would understand that

"Yeah, but you voted them in"

No I didn't, and come to think of it, I don't believe that the majority of Americans did either. 2016 and O-bomb-a's subsequent "shadow presidency" are all we needed to see to know that our elections have likely been completely illegitimate since 1980. They choose who gets the nomination, not us.

Children of ex-Saudi official in exile missing since detention in March: Family

Quote

the disappearance of Omar and Sarah, son and daughter of Saad al-Jabri — who has lived in exile in Canada since 2017 —showed how Saudi’s de facto ruler had used the children of his perceived enemies against them, Khalid, the siblings’ older brother told the British daily newspaper Guardian on Wednesday.

Their father was a senior aide to the deposed former Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Nayef, and served as the primary Saudi liaison to Western spy agencies.

Bin Nayef, who was always regarded as the senior royal figure closest to western governments, briefly became heir to the throne but was ousted in a palace coup in 2017.

His children were arrested 10 days after the detention of bin Nayef and another senior prince, Ahmed bin Abdulaziz, a brother of King Salman and an uncle of bin Salman, also known as MbS.

Prior to his detention, bin Nayef had effectively been under house arrest since his ouster in the 2017 coup that brought MbS to power.

In his talks with Guardian, Khalid, now living in Canada, described the detentions of his siblings as an act of vengeance by the crown prince to force the father to return to Saudi Arabia.

He said that Sarah and Omar were among the first victims of the kingdom’s purge of royal family members over an alleged coup attempt to unseat King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and his son MBS.

Their ordeal began on the day Prince Mohammed became crown prince in 2017, said Khalid.

Saudi blockade of Yemen ‘a new crisis’ amid coronavirus pandemic: Health Minister

Quote

Taha al-Mutawakel said on Tuesday that Yemen holds the United Nations responsible for the deteriorating conditions in the impoverished country, and that the world body has failed to take action to alleviate the problem.

Quote

The US-based Armed Conflict Location and Event Data Project (ACLED), a nonprofit conflict-research organization, estimates that the war has claimed more than 100,000 lives over the past five years.

More than half of Yemen’s hospitals and clinics have been destroyed or closed during the war by the Saudi-led coalition at a time when Yemenis are in desperate need of medical supplies to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.

At least 80 percent of the 28 million-strong population is also reliant on aid to survive in what the United Nations has called the world’s worst humanitarian crisis.

The United Nations has warned that Yemen could suffer one of the worst coronavirus outbreaks in the world.

Yemeni authorities have reported 486 reported coronavirus cases and 113 deaths, however, the World Health Organization believes numbers are much higher.

Mujtahid, a well-known Saudi whistleblower, announced on his Twitter page that he had been exposed secretly imprisoned in the eastern Yemeni city of Hadhramaut, where he had been subjected to widespread abuses against Yemeni detainees."I have received a report of previous arrests of prisoners held by Saudi forces in Yemen, which are summarized as follows:
- Hiding the existence of this prison and the events inside it;
- Justification of detention and method of detention is a violation of human rights;
- Prison conditions and services are not even suitable for animals;
- Prison is not under Saudi, Yemeni or international judicial supervision.
Mujtahid continued: "Hundreds and possibly thousands of people are being held in this prison, and some of them have died under torture and some others have been disabled." Most of the detainees are close to the suspects. Proponents of the case have been asking from Legal organizations and parliaments of world and International courts to force Saudi Army to  accept International Monitoring.

Quote

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Yemeni Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Taha Al-Mutawakkil considered Saturday That the United Nations has killed the Yemeni children twice by its silence about killing them by aggression and siege, and by removing the Saudi Arabia from the list of child killers despite international evidence and reports.

The Minister of Health said that over 7,000 Yemeni children were killed and injured by the aggression coalition in their homes since the first raid, however the United Nations dropped Saudi Arabia from the “list of shame”.

He explained that one week after Saudi Arabia was removed from the list it killed and injured 37 children. And that the deaths of children, who are aged less than 28 days, as a result of the aggression and the blockade amounted to 20% of the total births, and this number is documented internationally.

He stressed that the United Nations is supposed to bring Saudi leaders to the courts instead of giving them forgiveness Ignoring the Yemeni children's blood.

To that, the Yemeni Minister of Health noted that ambulance operations and intensive care may stop as a result of the oil derivative crisis, and the United Nations is silently observing, despite its knowledge of the crisis.

He pointed out that more than 3,500 patients who have kidney failure are at risk of death if there are no oil derivatives at the dialysis centers. While Saudi continues preventing entry of oil tankers.

The Al-Masirah news channel has on Wednesday released video footage showing the aftermath of Saudi-led artillery shelling on populated villages in border districts in Saada province

Quote

At three children and an old woman were injured on Saturday in Saudi army’s bombing on residential villages in Shada district of the same province, in a new crime added to a series of crimes and massacres committed by Saudi-led coalition against Yemeni civilians.

“Saudi missile and artillery shelling targeted the district of Shada, west of the province, after Friday prayers, destroyed a house of a citizen over the heads of his residents,” said the Office of the Ministry of Public Health and Population in the Rescue Government in Saada governorate.

“Four civilians (three children and an elderly woman)، were wounded in the attack on the Shada border district ,” the office added.

The new coalition’s crime against innocent Yemeni civilians comes days after coalition warplanes killed 13 civilians, including four children aged between 12 and 15, and a woman, in two raids targeting a car carrying civilians in the same district.

These crimes coincided with the UN’s removal of the Saudi-led coalition countries from the ”shame list” blacklist of children’s rights violators.

Saudi-led coalition has targeted some 300 health facilities in Yemen

Quote

Al-Mutawakkil made his remarks during his presidency with the governor of Hajjah Hilal Al-Soufi the extended meeting of health cadres in the governorate on Sunday, affirming that the aggression targeted more than 300 hospitals and health facilities, according to Almasirah.

“Hundreds of ambulances were not safe from the aggression’s targeting in compounded crimes, where the paramedic and the victim were killed,” he said, indicating that the Saudi-led aggression also targeted the health sector by emptying the country of qualified medical personnel and attracting them abroad.

He noted that during the past weeks with the spread of the coronavirus, the coalition of aggression was aimed at striking public confidence in doctors and the Ministry of Health by spreading rumors and false news.

“The aggression’s targeting of the medical sector is a deliberate targeting by using the media machine,” he said. “Citizens should be concerned with awareness and trust in the doctor.”

Al-Mutawakkil pointed out that the health situation is very poor and painful in the occupied areas and the citizens there, including those returning from abroad, lack real health care.

Regarding the medical bridge, which the United Nations promised to run to treat patients, the Minister of Health affirmed that the international medical bridge is a major lie, as only 50 patients were transported and then it stopped. “We have thousands of difficult medical cases in urgent need of treatment abroad.”

The Minister of Health indicated that Hajjah governorate has suffered from deprivation during the past decades, as it has only 8 rural hospitals serving 31 districts.

US Senator: Arming Saudi Arabia, UAE with drones means killing more Yemenis

Quote

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): US Senator Chris Murphy has announced his intention to introduce a bill banning Trump from selling drones to Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

Murphy said in a series of tweets that completing the deal could lead to more effective killings of civilians in Yemen.

He confirmed that Trump’s efforts to sell the weapon would greatly increase the arms race in the Middle East and allow the Saudis to kill civilians more effectively in the Yemen war.

He noted that China’s competition in this area, as Trump claims, is a false logic because the most sophisticated US aircraft, stressing the need to prevent the sale of weapons to dangerous places simply because of the wealth of some American companies.

The US senator warned that the deal would make it easier for other countries to sell missile technology to US enemies without consequences and would pose a long-term threat to US national security.

Saudi succession rules are theoretically clear-cut but can be adapted. Could MbS become regent during his father’s indisposition? Yes, but it would require the father to declare this. Could the king abdicate? Again, theoretically, yes, although it would be a new precedent. MbS likely does not want to find himself asking the senior princes who make up the so-called Allegiance Council for their approval, since some would not give it.

All this makes for potentially great drama, even for this coronavirus era. By comparison, the succession in neighboring Kuwait, where the 90-year-old ruling emir also has been hospitalized, is boring. In energy terms and regional geopolitics, Saudi Arabia is the place to watch.

It is time to reform the management of the hajj

Second, the hajj decision making system is fundamentally politicized. The wisdom of the Saudi decision this year should not prevent us from seeing the faults in the process: it was a Saudi decision for all Muslims. While all Islamic rituals, such as fasting, combine individual and communal aspects, the communal aspect is the dominant feature of the hajj. It’s a collective ritual that is at the mercy of Saudi Arabia’s unilateral decision making and management.

Thousands of Yemeni patients face death due to continued siege

Quote

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Yemeni health minister has warned that thousands of patients in the country are at serious risk of losing their lives as a result of the ongoing Saudi-led blockade and a decision by international humanitarian organizations to leave the war-torn country.

Speaking at a press conference in the capital Sana’a on Thursday, Taha al-Mutawakel said the tight blockade imposed on Yemen prevents the repair of medical equipment, adding that some 93 percent of medical devices in Yemen have worked way beyond their average life span, while all magnetic resonance diagnostic devices have stopped working.

He added that the Saudi-led coalition does not allow the entry of medicines, especially refrigerated ones, which has enormously aggravated the health conditions of Yemeni patients grappling with cancer and malignant tumors in particular.

Mutawakel noted that many international humanitarian organizations have officially announced their decision to withdraw from Yemen in light of the closure of Sana’a International Airport and suspension of fuel deliveries.

The health minister went on to say that the departure of such organizations will result in the collapse of Yemen’s health system, saying the closure of some 162 centers by international institutions amid the coronavirus pandemic equaled “the deliberate killing of Yemeni people.”

He then held the international community and the Saudi-led coalition of aggression fully responsible for any dire consequences of the withdrawal of international humanitarian organizations.

Mutawakel also appealed for an immediate end to the Saudi-led blockade, establishment of a sustainable medical air bridge and unrestricted entry of oil derivatives into Yemen.

He said Yemeni public and private hospitals are about to stop their operations due to the lack of oil derivatives, emphasizing that medical oxygen generators are now working at only 50 percent of their nominal capacities.

The invaders also struck Sa’ada Province twice during that same period.

Amid the escalation, the Yemeni defense forces successfully thwarted an attempted advance by the coalition in the southwestern al-Dhale Province, fighting off the invaders for seven straight hours and killing and injuring dozens of them.

Yemeni court issues death sentences for bin Salman, bin Zayed

Quote

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): A Yemeni court has sentenced Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Zayed to death in connection with the assassination of the former head of Yemen's Supreme Political Council.

A special criminal court in Hodeidah on Monday sentenced 16 men, including bin Zayed, Bin Salman, to death for espionage that led to the assassination of the Al-Samad, the head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council in 2018, Yemen’s Saba news agency reported.

The list of the convicts also includes Yemen's former President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, and Yemen's former prime minister Ahmed Obeid bin Daghr.

According to a report by al-Arabiya back then, a Saudi-owned pan-Arab television news channel, the Saudi-led military coalition, which has constantly bombarded Yemen since 2015, had offered a 20-million-dollar prize for any information that could help uncover the location of Samad’s domicile.
