Will you be part of that profession? If yes then there is no issue for you.

What he meant was that the reality of its existence is timeless. It exists, the mere fact it exists is not a shock. Maybe witnessing it is shocking but knowing it exists is not shocking.

hi/Salam you & @Murtaza1 see Muta with your glass not from it's true viewpoint , i don't blame you because it's you don't research about it you just watched some biased videos about Muta if you search receiving money (Dowry) for Muta is like as receiving Dowry for marriage but @Murtaza1 sees Pakistan from his random visits to Pakistan that his family doing their best for their comfort so he can't see whole image of his beloved place so he doesn't see dark side of his Country as I don't see my dark side of country that men & women in name of modernization are doing white marriage that is open Zina but before digging into Muta i recommend you to learn about it more before making more comments about it althought practicing Muta is nor obligatory nor mandatory but it's legal & doesn't count as prostitution in any form even in Sunni sources it's not prostitution but anti Shia people & channels made a bad mentality between everybody but in the other hand they do any type of Zina & prostitution by Islamic titles

it has no connection to Shia Islam & your work is a great sin in name of Halal dating

Sufism is just an illusion in Shia hadith they are woser than Khawarij in belief but they just don't rise a sword to fight other Muslims that keeps them except that they must fight Shias at first because they stick themselves like as leeches to Ahlulbayt (عليه السلام) & misrepresent Imam Ali (عليه السلام) simple life style that was for sake of poor people to their parasite life style  & only exposing their false belief & rituals highly recommended by all Shia Imams

I only know Sufism with what I have read. I know Sufis belong to different schools of thought within Sufism and follow particular leaders meaning they practice their particular Sufism according to who they follow and what school of thought they belong to. I have never actually seen any Sufi's and if there are any in my country you can be sure they are hidden in holes in Muslim communities. I only read books don’t know which book it was or which school of thought or which leader, its too much detail anywhere, I was just in awe of the quotes I was reading such as "he who never smiles fears God". I was awed, impressed and touched by such words. My reading of Sufi spirituality is of a people capable of having "out of body experiences". Of a people able to offer anybody traumatised by a lunatic capitalist society in which everyday they have to hustle, always be on guard and occasionally fear betrayal coz money can bend even the most principled human beings. Instead of seeking escape from reality in alcohol and women (I've lived that life), looking to ease one's burdens and traumas in the thighs of a many a woman (I done that and it solves nothing except temporary pleasure) what I deduced from reading about Sufism is MAYBE it is possible to escape the material world (albeit temporarily) with spiritual out of body experiences instead of finding  a solution in death (suicide) because that happens a lot. Especially in brutal capitalist societies where the rich get richer and the middle class practice Social Dawarnism ( only the strongest survive while the weak get discarded to the ash heap of history). The nightmare of any middle-class human being who has mortgages and debts is waking up in the gutter one day. I saw Sufism as a better alternative than waking up on monday morning after a weekend of women and alcohol feeling like I am the offspring of a cows bowel movements. I wouldnt know mate about intra-Shia-Sufi politics. They don’t mean anything to me.

My experience of Sufism was a pleasant one. When I visited their mosque it was very clean, smelled like sweet powder and looked like a baby dolls house. From the many different types of mosques I have visited Sufi scored top notch on my list. They were also the most welcoming compared to other Muslim communities.

hi/Salam late Ayatolah Behjat had this ability but it wasn't a goal for him like sufis , it was a tool for him to reach higher levels in spirituality   (Irfan) also if you interested about it i recommend to read Henri Corbin works that he was in close relationship with late Allamah Tabatabai  that he understand Shia mysticism (Irfan) better than than any westerner person btw Sufis are trying to reach higher spiritual level but they follow wrong ways that leads to Shaitan like as using intoxicants & it's reported that some of them are doing Zina with female persons in their cults but because of the fear the women most of times don't talk about or report it but in few cases they reported in Iran

Imam Sadiq about Sufis said :They are our enemies. Anyone who desires to be with  them is one of them, and  will be resurrected with  them. Quickly a group that claims  our love will follow them ... oh! If anyone desires to be with  them this group, he will not be from us, and we will disown him, and anyone who denies them is like a person who deals with the infidels and the hypocrites 12

"Sufism and Islam cannot be separated in the same way that higher consciousness or awakening cannot be separated from Islam. Islam is not an historical phenomenon that began 1,400 years ago. It is the timeless art of awakening by means of submission. Sufism is the heart of Islam. It is as ancient as the rise of human consciousness."2

Many scholars and jurists may join issue with the above statement. They perceive Sufism as an unacceptable distortion of Islamic beliefs and way of life. They find the rituals and practices as well as the beliefs of many Sufis repugnant to the teachings of Islam. They argue that Sufism has brought about confusion in the minds of its believers leading them away from the simplicity and purity of the glorious faith.

Many Orientalists, on the other hand, do not accept that Sufism has a direct link with Islam and reject the idea that it has evolved from the consciousness inspired by the Qur’an or the teachings of Muhammad. They affirm that its origin is firmly embedded in the mysticism of the Jew and Christian hermits and monks of the time and that their traditions not only inspired but also dictated the evolution of Sufism.

But from social point of view they form a separate group and a separate body, having its characteristic ideas and special manners of life. They wear a particular type of dress and grow their hair in a particular style. They live in hospices etc. Thus the Sufis have to a certain extent become a separate sect from religious as well as social point of view.

Anyhow there have always been and there are still, especially among the Shiahs, Gnostics who are not apparently distinct from others, yet they are closely associated with gnosis and spiritual journey."3

The author clearly has in mind many Shiah mujtahids and scholars both of the past and the present who have, as Shia leaders, made major contribution to irfaan. The most notable amongst the recent ones are Ayatullah Khomeini, Ayatullah Khu’i, Allamah Muhammad Hussain Tabaataba’i and the author himself,

Ayatullah Khumaini, in his lectures on the opening chapter of Qur’an deals at length with the misunderstanding regarding Sufism and concludes: "We find certain scholars denying the validity of mysticism. This is regrettable."4

I know what you mean. It was a shock to me as well. That's why I started this discussion.

Even though I was born and grew up in Europe, I strongly feel that the Muslim countries should know better.
