Too many things to do. I don't want to begin. Someone say something motivational to me?

(It's just chores, nothing terrible, though cleaning out the fridge is going to be close to terrible.)

Think of the end goal and how you’ll feel once you actually complete it all. Then take small steps in actually getting it done. Maybe even rate how you feel before and after so it gives you motivation for next time (even though you already know, it’s good to have it in front of you sometimes).

Netflix is coming under fire for pulling an episode of US comedian Hasan Minhaj's show Patriot Act of Saudi Arabia

Nudity, violence, racism, all manner of disrespect toward women are all ok on Netflix. A comedian making jokes about Saudi Arabia is over the line. I guess we know who pays their bills.

We heard on the news about Muslims who were newly elected and were being sworn in while putting their hand on the Holy Qur'an owned by Thomas Jefferson (instead of the Bible as most have done).

The American system doesn’t care about their religion because it’s foundation based on liberalism but I hope they don’t give vote against Islam & muslims specially Iran & don’t prefer their party to their religion

My condolences, and prayers for your son and all your family.

Tragically young. Does he have a spouse? Children?

@Son of Placid

One of the most tragic events in life is burying your own child.  May he rest in peace.  God give you patience and strength.  You will be in my thoughts.  If there is a virtual book of condolences, I would like to send a message.  I understand if it's a private matter though.  :(

Not really sure what it is yet.  Everything up until today has been filtered through my X. I talk to a doc and get conflicting reports. I'm flying out Thursday, will see him Friday.

Prayers for my son for clarity of mind.

Thanks.

Is it wise to open a savings account? Also should you open it with the same bank as your checking? Does anyone have any kind of advice?

I'm not sure how I feel about Facebook reminding me of the birthdays of my deceased friends and relatives. On one hand, it's good to periodically think of them and a little reminder doesn't hurt. On the other hand, it doesn't seem a celebratory occasion anymore.
