I feel so tired every morning

Salam,

I'm really messing up my morning rituals. I always wake up stressed about my life, worrying about the things I need to get done. It's annoying how overwhelmed I feel when I get up, like I can't decide what to do. I also feel tired every morning, like why does my body feel like doing nothing. Even if I start reciting the Quran, my body is like half dead.

Do you guys experience this? Where am I going wrong? I usually go to bed at like 10 pm and wake up at like 4am for fajr.

This goes a long way:

1. Eat healthy and regularly.

2. Excersize regularly.

3. Sleep enough.

4. Check your vitamin levels etc at the doctors. (Many years ago I found out my vitamin d levels were horrific, since then I eat supplements. Now I also eat iron supplements.)

If you have too much on your schedule - remove less important things and relax/do things that energize you instead.

Oh, and beetroot juice is really good for increasing energy levels. I learnt this from a specialist doctor during my internship. He works with patients who suffer from pain conditions and a related huge lack of energy. Worth a try. (I tried it and it actually works.) I could spend 45 minutes on my excersize bike much more easily. Huge difference.

As salaamun aleikum,  @Carlzone

Great suggestion about the beet root!

A couple years ago, i was experienceing this whole"out of breath" thing every time i would work out and especially when i would go hiking. I would feel super tired and yawn alot, for no reason that i could come up with. I did some studying and looking into it, and based on my experience, i was short of oxygen in my blood for some reason, so i began to juice and add raw organic beets to my kale juices before i would head out the door and IT WORKED! No more yawning and feeling tired when i go for hikes and work out. I dont remember the science behind it, but im sure its available by a simple google search as thats how i learned about it.

I know there are beet capsules available at health and vitamin shops, but i think the fresh raw sources are the best for our dietary needs, but whatever works best for people.

Hope this helps the op as much as its helped us.

Wa aleykom alsalam sis :)

I totally agree. I was so surprised when I could work out a whole session without getting tired. It was so easy. Who would believe that a little beet root juice could make such a difference?

No wonder Ahlul bayt a.s. used to treat different conditions with fruits/vegetables/foods. Just check Makarim Al-akhlaaq. Filled with food recommendations for different conditions.

Plan your day the night before. Set not just goals but plan exactly how you will accomplish them. What has always worked for me is assigning time slots to different chores and activities beforehand. It saves me lots of time and needless worrying about things I have to do. As soon as I leave the bed I already know what task I need to tackle first.I can focus on the task at hand with the comfort and reassurance that I have my day planned out with time assigned for the rest of the things. Just keep two things in mind:

1.Don't make the schedule very tight. Leave time for namaz, extra cup of coffee, idly gazing out of the window, watching an insect crawl(very important but often overlooked activities :p)

2. Plan a full day but include a couple of tasks that you can afford to miss in case some other more important thing takes up more time than anticipated.

Take a healthy diet, exercise, if possible take a short nap during the day.

I now do everything the night before and it literally made such a massive difference. I iron my clothes, make my lunch (well my mum does) etc. And when I wake up I don't have to worry about any of this

Try becoming a Zen-Shia.

I see what you did there.

I'm looking forward to the remake, but I keep hearing of cast & crew shakeups that might delay or outright prevent the production.

Did you know that those books were to credit for me beginning to research Islam?

Eat more fruits and vegetables then usual and try not to eat too much junk food. Try to lower rice, chicken and etc and get your fruits and veggies higher do that for six months straight and your whole life will turn around. No more risk of hair loss at old age, lasting longer in bed, your skin will look a lot more youthful, clear and brighter and even whiter, and your sleep will be bomb as it’s unbelievable and you will have lots of energy the next day you wake up.

My advice for is to go on a balanced diet it’s best thing to achieve all that I have mentioned.

@ali_fatheroforphans

Hope you are fine إِنْ شَاء َ اللَّه

Ali, from my personal experience as recommended to me by somebody, boil milk add one spoon of honey, drink it and sleep. You will wake up fresh.

Try it for 2 days and don't neglect it. You will see the difference إِنْ شَاء َ اللَّه

Bismehe Ta3ala,

Assalam Alikum brother.

Insh'Allah this isn't a problem anymore brother.

Are you more relaxed or do you still feel tired?

Are you enjoying the time off now during break?

God bless you.

Alhamd'Allah that is wonderful brother.

What type of exercising have you been doing?

Are you trying to build muscle or are you doing cardio?
