I don't know the Zaat wallah, I worship the Ism, Allah.

I worship the "Zaat" like of which there is nothing (laitha kamithlehe shay) and for whom is the best names (wa lahul asmaa ul husna). I worship the Lord of Muhammad & Ali (peace & blessings of Allah be upon them)

Before going any further i like to mention the following verses:

Allah is the guardian of those who believe. He brings them out of the darkness into the light; (2:257)

Only Allah is your Vali and His Messenger and those who believe, those who keep up prayers and pay the poor-rate while they bow. (5:55)

And whoever takes Allah and His messenger and those who believe for a guardian, then surely the party of Allah are they that shall be triumphant.(5:56)

Allah swt, the prophet and Ale Muhammad AS are the Wali for believers.

Look at the following verse for the other  Wali (other than Allah swt, the Prophet and Ale Muhamamd AS)

and whoever takes the Shaitan for a guardian rather than Allah he indeed shall suffer a manifest loss. (4:119)

O my father! surely I fear that a punishment from the Beneficent Allah should afflict you so that you should be a friend of the Shaitan. (19:45)

By Allah, most certainly We sent (messengers) to nations before you, but the Shaitan made their deeds fair-seeming to them, so he is their guardian today, and they shall have a painful punishment. (16:63)

Follow what has been revealed to you from your Lord and do not follow guardians besides Him, how little do you mind. (7:3)

This means that we should not take the Shaitan as Wali / guardian.

Those who are appointed by Allah are Wali including messenger, Imam Ali (& 11 Imams after him), we shall follow them (as mentioned in verse 5:55, 56).

and (as to) those who disbelieve, their guardians are Shaitans who take them out of the light into the darkness; they are the inmates of the fire, in it they shall abide. (2:257)

O children of Adam! let not the Shaitan cause you to fall into affliction as he expelled your parents from the garden, pulling off from them both their clothing that he might show them their evil inclinations, he surely sees you, he as well as his host, from whence you cannot see them; surely We have made the Shaitansto be the guardians of those who do not believe. (7:27)

I may come after some time for the word Light / Noor from quran

@Asghar Ali Karbalai

The example you brought up was good and explains everything, but Allah is not away from us. It's our sins that make us away from him. Allah said follow Ahlulbait to reach me, so we obey what he said. The reason we follow Ahlulbait is because Allah told prophet. Its not because we like to do that.

About hidden Shirk I forgot to mention something. Rasoulullah said:" Hidden Shirk is harder to detect than a black ant walking on a black rock". We should always do Tavakkul to Allah and Ahlulbait and be خالص in our Aamal.

024:035 Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth. The parable of His Light is a niche wherein is a lamp—the lamp is in a glass, the glass as it were a glittering star—lit from a blessed olive tree, neither eastern nor western, whose oil almost lights up, though fire should not touch it. Light upon light. Allah guides to His Light whomever He wishes. Allah draws parables for mankind, and Allah has knowledge of all things.

The word نُورُ has been mentioned 5 times in this verse. That provides a possible indication of the 5 personalities mentioned as purified ones. The following hadith provides the words of Imam for explanation:

 H 499, Ch. 13, h 5

Ali ibn Muhammad and Muhammad ibn al-Hassan have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Muhammad ibn al-Hassan ibn sham?? From ‘Abdallah ibn ‘Abd al-Rahmanal-Asamm from ‘Abdallah ibn al-Qasim from salih ibn Sahl al-Hamadani who has said that abu ‘Abdallah (a. s.) has said the following about the verse of the Holy Quran below.

"God is the light of the heavens and the earth. A metaphor for His light is a lantern in which there is a lamp placed in a glass. The glass is like a shining star which is lit from a blessed olive tree that is neither eastern nor western. Its oil almost lights up even though it has not been touched by the fire. It is light upon light. God guides to His light whomever He wants. God uses various metaphors. He has the knowledge of all things." (24:35) The Imam (a.s.) said that the lantern metaphorically stands for the Holy lady, Fatima (a.s.), the lamp stands for Imam al-Hassan (a. s.) and the glass stands for Imam  al-Husayn (a.s.). The shining star stands for the Holy lady Fatima (a.s.) who shines among the ladies of the world. The blessed olive tree stands for Prophet Abraham. Neither eastern nor western means not Jewish nor Christian. ‘Its oil almost lights up’ means that it almost bursts up with knowledge. ‘Light up on light’ means that there will one Imam after the other Imam (a.s.) ‘God guides to His light who ever He wants’ means that Allah guides through the Imams whomever He wants." About ‘God uses various metaphors’ I said, "Or it (the deeds of the unbelievers) are like the darkness of a deep, stormy sea with layers of giant waves, covered by dark clouds. It is darkness upon darkness whereby even if one stretches out his hands he can not see them. One can have no light unless God gives him light. (24:40)

The Imam (a.s.) said, " ‘darkness’ refers to the first and his friend, ‘with layers of giant waves’ refers to the third, ‘covered with darkness’ refers to the second. ‘it is darkness up on darkness’ refers to Mu‘awiya and the disasters caused by the Amavides. ‘even if one stretches out his hands’ means that even if a true believer would stretch his hands in such disastrous condition ‘he can not see them’. ‘One can have no light unless God gives him light, means the light from the children of the Holy Lady, Fatima (a.s.) ‘Can have no light’ means an Imam on the Day of Judgment." The Imam (a.s.) said that, "On the Day of Judgment you will see the believers with their light shining in front of them and to their right.

They will be told, "Paradise wherein streams flow is the glad news for you today. You will live therein forever. This is the greatest triumph." (57:12), the shining light in front . . .’ is a reference to the Imams (a.s.) whom would walk in front and on the right of the true believers until they all enter paradise."

Ali ibn Muhammad and Muhammad ibn al-Hassan have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Musa ibn al-Qasim al-Bajali and Muhammad ibn yahya from al-‘Amrakiy ibn Ali altogether from Ali ibn Ja‘far (a.s.) from his brother a similar Hadith.

Majlisi: Sahih  (Chapter 13, The Imams (a.s.) are the light of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, Part 4, Vol 1, Al kafi, by Sheikh Saduq)

The number of Sura is 24 and verse number is 35. Their sum is 24+35 = 59 ->5+9=14 ->1+4=5

I also like to quote the following verse:

007:157 —those who follow the Messenger, the untaught Prophet, whose mention they find written with them in the Torah and the Evangel, who bids them to do what is right and forbids them from what is wrong, makes lawful to them all the good things and forbids them from all vicious things, and relieves them of their burdens and the shackles that were upon them—those who believe in him, honour him, and help him and follow the light that has been sent down with him, they are the felicitous.’

H 495, Ch. 13, h 1

Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Mu‘alla ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn Mirdas who has said that Saffron ibn Yahya and al-Hassan ibn Mahbub have narrated from abu Ayyub from abu Khalid al-Kabuli who has said that he asked Imam abu Ja‘far (a.s.) about the meaning of the words of Allah e following. "Those who believe in him, honor and help him, and follow the light which is sent down to him, will have everlasting happiness." (7:157) The Imams (a.s.) said, "O abu Khalid, I swear by Allah that it is the Imams from the family of the Holy Prophet (s.a.) up to the Day of judgment who are called light in the above verse. They, I swear by Allah, are the light of Allah whom He sent down. It is they, I swear by Allah, who are the light of Allah in the heavens and in the earth. O abu Khalid, I swear by Allah, that the light of the Imams (a.s.) in the hearts of the true believers is more bright than the light of the sun in the midday. They, I swear by Allah, give light to the hearts of the true believers and Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, may block such light from reaching the hearts of whoever He may will, thus their hearts remain dark. O abu Khalid, no one would believe in our Divine authority except that Allah will cleanse his heart. Allah will not cleanse the heart of a person until he or she will acknowledge our Divine authority and live in peace with us.

When one lives in peace with us Allah will safe guard him against the severity of the day of recockning and grant him security against the great terror on the Day of Judgment.

 H 496, Ch. 13, h 2

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated through his chain of narrators from abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) about the words of Allah that say, There are those who follow the Messengers, the illiterate Prophet (not conventionally educated), whose description they find written in the Torah and the Gospel. [He (the Messengers) enjoins them to do good and forbids them to do all that is unlawful, makes lawful for them all that is pure and unlawful all that is filthy, removes their burdens and the entanglements in which they are involved]. Those who believe in him, honor and help him, and follow the light which is sent down to him, will have everlasting happiness." (7:157)

The Imams (a.s.) said, "It is Amir al-Mu’minin Ali (a.s.) and the Imams (a.s.) after him who are called ‘light’ in the above verse of the Holy Quran."

 H 498, Ch. 13, h 4

Ahmad ibn Mahran has narrated from ‘Abd al-‘Azim ibn ‘Abdallah al-Hassani from Ali ibn Asbat and al-Hassan ibn Mahbub from abu Ayyub from abu Khalid al-kabuli who has said that he asked Imam abu ‘Abdallah (a.s.) about the meaning of the words of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, in the following verse of the Holy Quran. "Those who believe in him, honor and help him, and follow the light which is sent down to him, will have everlasting happiness." (7:157) The Imams (a.s.) said, "O abu Khalid, the light in this verse, I swear by Allah, means the Imams. O abu Khalid the light of the Imam (a.s.) in the hearts of the true believers is more bright than the light of the sun in midday. It is they who brighten the hearts of the true believers and Allah withholds their light from reaching whomever He would will, thus, their hearts become dark and Allah covers them with the darknesss."

(Chapter 13, The Imams (a.s.) are the light of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, Part 4, Vol 1, Al kafi, by Sheikh Saduq)

 H 500, Ch. 13, h 6

Ahmad ibn Idris has narrated from al-husayn ibn ‘Ubadallah from Muhammad ibn al-Hassan and Musa ibn ‘umar from al-hassan ibn Mahbub from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl who has said that he asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.) about the meaning of the words of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, in the following verse of the Holy Quran. "They want to put out the light of God with their mouths, but God will certainly make His light shine forever - even though the unbelievers may dislike this." (61:8) The Imam (a.s.) said, "They want to put out the divine authority of Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.) with their mouths. ‘but Allah completes His light’ means the Imams (a.s.) as mentioned in, "Those who believe in him, honor and help him, and follow the light which is sent down to him, will have everlasting happiness." (7:157) The light stands for Imam (a.s.)."

(Chapter 13, The Imams (a.s.) are the light of Allah, the Most Holy, the Most High, Part 4, Vol 1, Al kafi, by Sheikh Saduq)

Inside the Quran till the verse 7:157 the word نُور is mentioned exactly 12 times which is the count of 12 Imams.

From the verse 7:157 till the verse 24:35 the word نُور is mentioned in Quran exactly 14 times which is the count of 14 Infallibles.

The verse 24:35 mentions the word نُور  5 times for the representation of 5 purified personalities.

But even the Propeht had a distance from Allah. Refer to the Miraj when he went to the lote tree- it mentioned distance(veil). The Ayat moves as if you think you will meet Allah, but then Allah reminds again he is the most high, and what do we see instead? His greatest sign....

when you want to meet Allah and go to the highest reaches then you’ll meet his greatest sign

Allah leaves nothing out

so imagine just how amazing Allah is

its incomprehensible

Brother, I do not know about scholars mentioning it openly due to the fact that people will reject it and say it is kufr and due to it being a secret should be kept as a secret.

I don't believe blindly, I question and learn from 'Aql' and I wonder always what could be hidden from the 14 Infallibles and then I say to myself that this is not my concern because these are some very in depth things.

You know, Aal(asws) e Mohammad(saww) did not open up in front of many people, like Aaqa(saww) saying, had not I been afraid of my ummah being astrayed I would have mentioned such fazails of Moula Ali(asws) that nobody else would have heard of. They had to hide many things from us and even after hiding many things, Nusairis came into existence, Imagine if Aaqa(saww) had mentioned those fazails what could have happened?

Also Hazrat Meesam(asws) or another sahabi of Moula Ali(asws) or a masoom(asws) said that if I tell you some other fazails of Moula Ali(asws) then half of the world would get crazy and half would die hearing it.

A lot of secrets brother.

These things never came openly.

Having said that, I am just a learner like everyone else here.

I wish I was there. I would gladly die hearing such praises and beauty about one beautiful perfected being aboeut another beautiful perfected being

its so sad humans didn’t ask enough and now we will probably never know. Save a few

@skyweb1987

brother mashallah! I’m so glad my heart already knows these things and accepts all of it but I’m ashamed at my lack of perception and scholarly knowledge on this...

but brotherrrrr :cry::cry::cry:

i want to learn Arabic! I don’t know it

T-T It’s a shame I don’t know it! I know the secret of these things are in the letters. So learning Arabic is so important to interpret the Quran like the ocean it is-with it’s depth of knowledge. Which might explain the seemingly broken letters beginning of some Surahs. The secrets are in the letter, the backbones, the smallest units, the select purified few

your passion and love for analyzing everything with in mind that it HAS to relate to the ahulbayt (because you can be objective and humble and see that’s obviously what the truth is) shows me how pure your heart and mind is. Mashallah!! I wish to know the mighty language the Quran came in and the Ahlulbayt spoke in

the wormholes of all wormholes!

They can only know what Allah (s.w.t) allows them to know.

Wala yohetoona beshayin min ilmehe "illa bemashaa".

Prophet (S) although being at the state of "fa kana qaba qowsayne aw adna" but there still present a gap, a veil. Perhaps these blessed personalities becomes veil for each other at a point.

Yes! And the highest veil Is Sayeda herself! She is the continuation(? Is that the appropriate word?) of Faatir, she Isbell the closest to Allah of which the Nabi hasn’t been to. Imam Jafar Sadiq(as) I also believe has said that he cannot even understand the most pious lady, Sayeda!

Her veil is the veil of Allah!!

those who know more please help elaborate :) where the hadiths are form exactly?

im still learning, comparable to a child learning to crawl nonetheless with a destination in mind

Your and mine are limitations and those limitations are the words of Allah (s.w.t). The source of knowledge of Prophet (S) is His Rabb. How much is his (prophet's) knowledge, I don't know and cannot know but Allah (s.w.t) has mentioned that it is limited. The Only unlimited, absolute is Allah (s.w.t), Only He is All-knowing, created beings cannot get unlimited capacity or become absolute in anyway. That is what logic dictates.

Of course they’re not absolute. Which makes it all the more sadder, they’re Allahs most precious and close creation. They are HIS LOVE!! They way a mother or father loves their child people say that’s the biggest strength And the strongest love, but Allah doenst have something he loves and wants to protect? They are so dear to him, we cry and die if one of our own dies or is subjected to cruelty, how must we imagine then Allahs absolute fury and ‘hurt’(maybe there is a better word- Allah forgive my limited vocabulary)? Anyway, But only Allah knows what such absolute is. So their status is just as hard to understand as Allahs position.

nobody can deny they have a special and therefore non-definable (in mathematical and in this plane of existence;limits) relationship. So we as Muslims have no right to put our own arbitrary cap on what such absoluteness is. Therefore like Allah makes clear so simple, Allah is the only creator and his rasool are Muhammed and his Wali is Ali. And it is with his light(which we don’t know in clear cut defined terms-humans don’t even know much about their own brains, and psychology for humans is still so undersood) that he guides and wills, therefore ahulbayt are this light and this will as well.

and we would know the CNS of Allah and Ahlulbayt? Their relationship is only with each other, not anyone can say they are what Allah wills...

sorry lots of bio and math terms here

ive got finals t-t

im just drawing comparisons
