1:25 Cornel West saying it took a death of a journalist for people to know what is happening in Yemen

I can't stand Bernie Sanders he said 85,000 Yemeni children "maybe that is a tragedy as well." @hasanhh

Why didn't he open his mouth during Obama's time?

At time it was a pride work for them to starve Yemenis but now they are trying to save themselves from sunken ship of KSA  .

@abuhaydar

We all know Saudi Arabia is barbaric, evil, and genocidal and I'm happy everyone on this site condemns them but the problem is Assad is no different but you guys defend him on sectarian grounds and basis. So what do you want me to say about Saudi Arabia? Everyone else already said it.

Since the beginning of human history, America has always wanted to dominate the world and destroy countries. The tactic of America is to start proxy wars, make everything a 'Shia vs Sunni' thing, and watch innocent people get killed. America has never ever cared about peace tbh, they only deceive people.

Death to all these governments (Israel, US, Saudi) honestly they're so disgraceful. Inshallah, they'll all face the punishment in the hereafter.

Everyone change your profile picture to Yemen Crises

We are all one ummah, if one of its part is hurt, then all of it is hurt.

I think this is also a paraphrased saying of our Prophet Mohammed (saws)

Al-Nu’man ibn Bashir reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The parable of the believers in their affection, mercy, and compassion for each other is that of a body. When any limb aches, the whole body reacts with sleeplessness and fever.

My sympathies & moral support are for brothers & sisters of Yemen. May Allah grant them steadfastness, pour upon them patience and grant them success against the oppressors.

UNFPA: Over million Yemeni women are at risk

The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) announced that it will be forced to close 175 health facilities in Yemen during September due to lack of funding.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA): The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) announced that it will be forced to close 175 health facilities in Yemen during September due to lack of funding.

In a tweet on its Twitter page, the fund said it would have to close 175 (65 percent) of the 268 health facilities in Yemen, currently supported by reproductive health services.

This was seen as a direct threat to more than a million pregnant and lactating women who needed immediate treatment for acute malnutrition and medical assistance.

UNFPA stressed the need for financial pledges by donors to save lives.

The United Nations agencies operating in Yemen, announced earlier the lack of material funding for the implementation of many humanitarian and health assistance.

350,000 displaced in Yemen in 2019: UN

350,000 displaced in Yemen in 2019: UN

About 350,000 people have been displaced by the ongoing conflict in Yemen in 2019, the United Nations said Thursday.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA): About 350,000 people have been displaced by the ongoing conflict in Yemen in 2019, the United Nations said Thursday.

In a tweet, the UN’s International Organisation for Migration said that the body’s Displacement Tracking Matrix covers more than 42,000 sites, to help understand the needs, numbers, locations and population conditions in Yemen, including IDPs, returnees and migrants, the MEM reported.

It found that in 2019 alone, about 350,000 people were displaced in Yemen.

For the fifth consecutive year, Yemen has witnessed a massive exodus since the beginning of the US-Saudi aggression on 26 March 2015.

According to UN estimates, war on Yemen has killed about 70,000 people since the beginning of 2016 due to the ongoing conflict between armed factions supported by coalition countries and the attack on the western coastal areas of Yemen.

I MADE IT TO YEMEN (first impressions) [ he goes to Al-Qaeda controlled part of Yemen but although with KSA support from al-Qaeda people are suffering from shortage in everything]

Yemen is having many problems at the moment, but the most obvious to me so far has been the shortage of gasoline. We've driven over 14 hours so far from the Oman/Yemen border to the city of Mukalla, and it was a wild experience every time we had to stop at the gas station.

Instead of using normal gas stations (which are mostly out of gas), there are young kids on motorbikes who track you down on the road and offer to fill up your car with "illegal" gasoline. The price has increased 300% over the last few years because the of the short supply.

What's ironic is that Yemen does sit on an abundance of oil reserves, but unfortunately, they are being taken advantage of by their neighbors and are unable to use much of that gas for themselves.
