as salaam alakim!!!

I want to know what do Iran and Hezbullah mean when they say there not against the American people?

what if those groups are racist and islamophobes or hate muslims? Or do hate crimes, are are against shias or are mean to other people? or support American policies and forigen polices against muslims?

I thought we were not suppose to take those people as allies or political patrons?  Sunnis say were not suppose to take them as friends, why do shias say that?

We cannot generalize the whole population of a country based on crimes committed by selected groups of people.

In general, humans shall not take zaalimun as associate.  Invite them to goodness and if they fight you, then it is anyone right to self defense.

Allah swt, all Prophets and Imams hate zaalimun (unjust people) from early humans until the last one.

If groups of people unjustly practice hate crimes and these people are zaalim toward others, then we must disassociate with these groups and defend the goodness against evil doers.

A country that has a true muslim leader and muslim majority, shall not take other country as closed ally if that country is governed by policies that are proven to be unjust to others.

Light and darkness cannot be together.

A country like the US usually has good written policies but as to last 100 years they act based on unwritten policies to other countries, called national interests.  These national interests are set by their elected political leaders and interest groups, and majority can be unjust to mankind.  Then they created convert policies, agencies, wars...anything that fulfill their national interests.  Right or wrong doesn't matter, as long as it is politically correct.  Taking the US as an ally, at this moment will be dangerous until the US people decide to change their leadership to a better group.

Erm because in America, you have the likes of Noam Chomsky, Chris Hedges and Norman Finkelstein, while you also have the likes of George Bush, Donald Trump and Ronald Reagan. The two groups are polar opposites. To say you're against the American people would mean you're grouping them all together into one because of where they were born, in that sense you wouldn't be too different from the people who call people from the middle east all terrorists, or all backward uncivilised people.

USA does what's in its national interest

They allow more freedom to worship to all sects shias here than anywhere on the planet
