Wiping the opposite way during wudhu by accident

I sometimes do it by acident and it's not far in the opposite direction, just a few centimetres like 2 or 3cm. Is this permissible during arm washing and face washing?

Also, if it's a full unintentional opposite direction wipe , would this invalidate the wudhu?

The reason I ask the second question is I am also trying to find out the delineation of an accident becoming a leeway during wudhu wiping

Jazakallah I hope Allah makes things easy for you.

Salaam,

249. The face and hands should be washed from above downwards, and if one washes the opposite way, his Wudhu will be void.

Ok but he is referring if it were intentional. What about an innocent mistake in the process of doing wudhu? If that was the case I would have to repeat it 4-5 times and each time taking me 8-10 minutes

I didn't found anything for 'accidental' or 'unintentional' but if you know something intentional or unintentional has void your wuzu then you have to repeat it.

if it was an accident it should be alright. Just like accidentally eating during Ramadan. You should try your best though. Correct me if I am wrong.

Is that not Qiyas? What is the source that doing accidentally it does not invalid the wudhu. It is clear statement that it is invalid and if there were exception, it will be mentioned clearly.
