Where is the evidence for Imamah? Specifically- divinely chosen, infallible imams who have 'eel mun ghayb and are better than The Prophets???

You have asked so many questions in one go, it is not possible to answer them in detail at once. However just giving you the hints in the form of verses of Quran:

1. Imamah:

2:124

2. Chosen Ones:

22:75

3. Infallibility:

17:65

4. Ilmul-Ghayb:

72:26-27

5: Better then Prophet:

This is because of the "nisbat" of Imams to Prophet Muhammad (S), the bearers of "minniyat" of Rasool Allah (S) are better then the other Prophets (as), because Prophet (S) himself is Imam-ul-Anbiya. Perhaps you must be aware of the news that Prophet Jesus (a.s) will offer prayers behind Imam Mahdi (asws).

Can you tell me where does true authority come from? Allah or men?

which interpretation are we talking about?

Use of common sense must the start point.

There is a concept of Imamah in Quran, and it is present as a divine covenant. So if someone says there is no concept of Imamah in Quran, he is lying.
It is mentioned in Quran that there exist Allah's chosen ones in Aal-e-Ibrahim and among people (naas), so if anyone deny this, he is lying.
There is a concept of infallibility mentioned in Quran, there exists persons whom Shaitan cannot misguide or cause them to err. Anyone deny this is lying.
It is mentioned in Quran that Allah shares His knowledge, including the knowledge of ghayb with His chosen ones or with anyone He wills, anyone deny this is lying.
It is mentioned in many mutawatir & muttafiq alaih ahadith, that there are some who bears the "minniyat & ma'eeyat" of Prophet (S). Like a famous hadith mentions "Hussaino minni wa ana min Hussain". That "minniyat" and nisbat with Prophet (S), make the bearer of minniyat above all other Prophets. As Prophet (S) himself is Syed-ul-Anbiya.

After the use of common sense, we should study different school of thoughts and we should open our hearts for accepting the truth all the time.

Prophet Ibrahim (as) gradually moved up in rank, and finally became an Imam. I don't think Allah would say that he tried Prophet Ibrahim (as) with many tests and then awarded him the position of 'Imamah' after he passed those tests, If the position of Imamah wasn't significant.

There are many evidences, you just need to be open-minded and use rationality. It's not about which sect is right, just study Imamah objectively, and ponder over those verses in the Quran.

There is one verse that really proves the significance of Immah to me:

And we made of them Imams to guide by our command for they were patient, and they were certain of our clear signs. (Quran 32:24)

Some important points about this verse:

(1) Allah guided the Imams by 'his command'. There is no possibility of something not being as desired if Allah commands it to be. Therefore Imams are always guided by Allah, and this proves that they must be infallible.

(2) Allah says that he "made" them Imams, which seems like a system Allah created, where the world will always have some sort of hujjah. Allah could of used the word "appoint", but he used "made" instead.

(3) This verse suggests that Imamah is such an important position that patience and certainty is required. Prophet Ibrahim (as) was so patient after that dream he saw, that Allah awarded him the position of Imamah.
