We are celebrating the 12th anniversary of the Divine Victory.

Yesterday at the festival they were raffling off 20 gold liras, equivalent of 300 USD

They only gave me one raffle ticket and my children were with me.  Children got upset why they didn't get a ticket, like they had the day before.

My child was trying to reason with me.  

"Imma, if you win, let us divide it up in four."  "Dad, you and us."

I'm giggling how he is trying to negotiate with me.

"Can we go up the stage with you?"

Other child saying out loud with arms extended out in the air.  "YA RAB!"

"Ya Ali ibn Mousa Reza"

We lost.

"I'm never going to a festival again"

Actually, I'm glad we lost, they need to learn we don't always have to be rewarded or win something.

Life lessons learned.

l decided to clean up some of my accumulated clutter.

l  almost finished one corner --in the basement.

Actually she did but I looked at the market first thing in the morning and it ruined everything for me.

The thing is I put all of my saving into it and market crashed I know Insha'Allah things will get better. However, we were planning to get a house and now i got no money to put as a down payment. Sometime these things do get to me even tho I know it will be alright. Sometime this shaitan put second thoughts in your head.

I was listening to a "latmiya" where an Arab dude 3alasas expresses his immense love by saying "I promise i will not cheat on you". 

Only an Arab man would promise not to cheat on you as an expression of love!!! So a woman should feel honoured if her man says this!? I must say, I did get a great laugh though!  

(I know there are many great Arab men.)

l decided to do some laundry today. l had run-out of about everything since July, August?

Anyway, while l was stuffing stuff from different corners into the washer, l remember back about 30 years ago when l didn't get all the soap rinsed out of my socks.

Getting caught in a heavy rain storm, l Iater had soap foam squishing out of my shoes as l waIked about half a mile.
