A good book (Related to Imam ali as)

Salamalikum,

Does anyone know a good book to read that's set in the narrative style on imam ali's life? By narrative style I mean I'd like it to be describing his life through story telling and not just stating the facts. If that's not possible does anyone have any books on the Battle of Karbala in the same narrative style?
