24, originally from the US but in the process of moving to Wakanda. The most interesting thing about me is that I managed to put a balloon inside of a balloon a couple of days ago.

And I'm both a very silly and very no-nonsense person simultaneously.

I'm a 21 year old dude of Pakistani decent, and I've been raised in Australia (well I was in New Zealand for a couple of years before I moved to Australia).

But yeah, being around people just gives me so much energy. If I spend a day all alone, I don't feel that great. I often go to Shiachat to get energized (And it sure does help).

I'm quite reserved in real life, not so much on Shiachat, maybe because I don't feel that judged here.

Something interesting about myself is the fact that I have to get a mod to temporarily ban my account so I can study for my exams (honestly that's how much I love Shiachat :D)

Good luck on your exams!!! What are you studying

I am a Pakistani Khoja living in the States. I am a very reserved introvert, Myer's Briggs: INFJ, Zodiac Sign: Taurus, Enneagram: 6, and I am currently engaged in battle with the melting pot that is America to retain my identity and my religion.

Dont have any hobbies that are worth mentioning and no talents that I know of as of yet.

I really do love following International Politics though.

My future is unknown at the moment, but I would very much like to go to Iran and study at the Hawza in my lifetime.

I am a long time lurker here. I may have unpopular opinions, but please bear with me :)

Salaam! I really hope you get to go to Iran! I wish to go one day too

Hey, Earth Children. I read a lot of poetry and talk a lot about other writers. 22, and from the US.

The mbti is often one of the first things I ask when meeting someone new. I like to figure people out, what makes them tick, and I can understand your soul intuitively within a minute of meeting you. I dig to the core of who people are, not how they appear or the things they say.

I’m an open-book. People have said I appear naive because of it. I laugh a lot. I think it’s because I appreciate humorous personalities since I’m not funny at all.

Every few years, I go through a physical transformation depending on physical traits that I value in myself at the time. I believe in evolution of the soul, body, mind.

Yep! I find it much easier to post those instead of having to describe my personality (which I'm not really good at). Those tests are pretty accurate! And then I can tell whether someone's like me easily!

I’m male, a convert, 19 years old and from Australia.

I am a university student studying Sociology, Criminal Justice and Islamic history/Studies. I hope to one day become a Police Officer in New South Wales and join a specialist unit that targets highly dangerous groups or individuals who intend to harm innocent members of society.

My hobbies consist of playing video games, reading and going for long distance runs. I grew up around religion but never practiced any religion until I became a Muslim. An interesting thing about me is that I once was considered by N.S.W. Police a youth at risk of becoming involved with crime, sounds menacing I know but in reality I had anxiety and didn’t turn up to school so I could avoid being bullied. Being on this list got you a lot of negative attention from Police because I was on the same list as a 15 year old robbing shops so because of this I was demonised and treated the same as these other kids within the public school system until teachers got to know me. Because of this I still hold a negative view of police and in general any public officials because I somewhat hold them responsible because rather than give me a helping hand they demonised me. (Yes..I know the irony of wanting to become a police officer.)

I am a firm believer in Vilayat-e Faqih and have a high degree of respect toward Ayatollah Khamenei and Ayatollah Khomeini. I even have an Iranian flag next to my Aussie flag. After I graduate from university I hope to visit Beirut, Damascus, Karbala, Baghdad, Basra, Tehran and Esfahan.

I also think Sloths are pretty cool...

A  girl getting bored just threw a random question and all the boys just started writing big CV.

At least don't make it a chitchat pointless  forum to waste time to answer a random girl asking around what u do to pass her time.

I'm really interested in Shia Islam and Islam itself and am considering converting, but as of yet am very unsure as I've never been very religious to begin with, though I do not consider myself an atheist as I do believe a higher power exists.

Hi , Im 29 Female former Indian and now an Australian. I am happy with the way my life is, I have made it the way i wanted  I'm more into self experiments of breaking my cultural taboos and norms that make ones life Hell :D. Practicsing some medical profession. Presently engaged with myself to improve my LISTENING skills as i feel now a days people are like-to-be deaf kind of, We doesnt want to listen to others ( patiently) and rationalise. We lost our thinking capacities to think beyond everything that we come across in day to day life, trying and so far successful in not being Phone-dependent to keep my overall health and mind save from harmful rays or cultural diseases. Re-training my brain to remember everything than putting reminders on mobile phone, DIdnt take any Selfie or selfie culture since 5months as i am hating it now with its drastic spread all over the world. If i see people taking a video or clicking a photo in some gathering where i get in to its range, I get up and ask them to be mindful of ME. I am hating such an ignorance by people who are now a days so care less about others (privacy) I hate those forwarded msgs/images sent by family and friends which are Morning greetings, eid greetings, moharram notifications, amaal or prayer details , I had a very positive argument about it with my people and thank God I dont get any forwaded stuff now.

Much more but it is to much already :) Sorry!

^^^^^ "phone dependent", "selfies", . . .

Reminds me of a radio talk-show today. The discussion was that younger people are so phoned-and-Net "in" that they lack personalized interactive skills.

I disagree. Im trying to learn more about the community and that means the members included. I have grown up with a very specific view of what being a Shia is and the people in this forum and in these chats have dispelled those lies, thus no chit chat is pointless if it means learning about people. As we shouldnt be so selfish and not consider everyone here as being their own person. :) Have a good day
