I think @ShiaMan14 has also mastered the art of fragmented quoting, not always but he does at times.

I do it occasionally, but it is something that I need to be reminded of

I am sick of three things: rubbernecking, people mixing culture and Islam and ex-Muslims being treated as "experts on Islam" on certain right-wing news sites and radio shows.

You know what else grinds my gears? I keep getting text messages informing me that my child's bus is running late. It does not say how late, just late. You know what that means? That means I have to go out to meet the bus at the usual time, and I should expect to wait between five and forty five minutes. How hard would it be to say "the bus will be ten minutes late", or forty five, or whatever applies.

Why do you have to meet the bus?

Because they require an adult to meet any child who is in kindergarten or first grade. The bus stop is right next to our house, but not close enough that I can go about my business until it arrives. Next year I won't have to wait outside in the rain.

Now back in the 50s, when l got off the bus and it was raining l'd jump into the ditch and wade the 100+ feet to our driveway.

And all the women in the neighborhood would watch and laugh, including the time it was waste high on me.

"l was disturbed even from a young age."

HI All...Wow after reading all the posts I now know, How different, colorful and variety of sicknesss/s we all got :)

I'm Sick of my own people who are judgemental about each and every thing, each and every person is so NEGATIVE we all forgot to THINK, RE Think, and over Think :) every action has got a story behind, every good and bad things happening are not just happening by itself rather it is a result of what has happened in past or sometimes it is just Unknown , ...We are no more left with some thing called PATIENCE we are too afraid of our position in society that is build on fake norms (lol) we deep inside think if we dont dress well , if we dont organise a big meelad, if we dont (or my family women) wear a hijab if we dont have a good car, if we dont get married on time, if we dont have terms with society's rich people and etc etc then we HOLD NO RESPECT and IDENTIFICATION in society LOL. I've a long list but it's too much  already to type here :)

Talking Heads  --which gets this name from the dot-com bubble of the 90s when people pumped stocks in front of the TV cameras.

Now, l have only been reading on the DPRK (North Korea) for just over a year, but before and particularly after the Kim-Moon Summit on the Peace Zone (formerly known as the DMZ)  l must have watched 15 and more professional or press commentators on TV and except for a couple on DeutscheWelle and NHK(Japan) none of these run-at-the-mouths had any idea about what they were talking about. DW and NHK had interviewed Korean specialists from universities and think tanks.

People who show-off how “pious” they appear.

Also, people who believe they are angelic saints who can do nothing wrong just because they wear hijab.

And I’m sick of hijabis who look down on non-hijabis.

There is an old saying, "Always be careful of people who wear their religion on their cuff."

Refers to shirt cuff. lncIudes bracelets, pins, and so forth.

Seriously!

Nothing more despicable and worse for Islam than fake pious people.

Royal Weddings.

They so dominate the TV that you not only cannot escape, but they are a royal pain.

9 days later^^^^^, 3 or 4 days after the marring and what does the "news" report on? "Maygone Marbleous' Wetting Dross Look Alikes".

:dwarf:"Who Cares?"

Then when there is a report on Kilauea Volcanoe  spewing lava, what do l see?  Somebody's ugly face in the way.

I’ve seen Hijabis act in a very inappropriate manner with my own eyes They act In a slutty way and so on. Then the are the non hijabis that dress modest ,also has good manners and are formal. There are non Muslim girls that are ten times better then Muslim girls. Wearing a hijab doesn’t identify who you are.

Alhamdulillah that its possible to wear hijab AND act appropriate as well.

Here is my new input for this thread:

I'm sick of people who use others disobedience towards Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى to justify their own disobedience towards Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَ تَعَالَى.

ADULT WARNING: [obscenities absent, though]

l am SERIOUSLY SICK of  sick-in-the-head-stuff

l have in my newspaper clipping collection a 1996 article about three California teens who tortured and murdered a 15 year old so they could have "a ticket to Hell". What brought this to mind and why l went to retrieve it  is this following article l tripped over while reading the news.

"Vampyr is a game about saving souls, not sacrificing them"  https://www.polygon.com/2018/6/4/17425760/vampyr-review-pc-ps4-xbox-one

The objective in the game is "to increase your power by murdering people". The kind of thing the Taliban and lSlL do.

The article describes dungeons of people that are to be eliminated, bodies everywhere, and so on. A strange read.

In a graduate Educational Psychology seminar, we read the book The Dungeon Master (1984) about https://en/wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Dallas_Egbert_III . A teenager preoccupied by the game "Dungeons and Dragons". Acting out on games is a recurring fact. Ever so often an underdeveloped personality gets really "off". Then crimes occur.

l read this past weekend that there are 2.6 Billion game players on the lnternet. And some of them play this sick-stuff. l can neither calculate nor speculate how many will try to act-out based on these games. But you can concurrently remember how many people in the news media were so-called "radicalized" by reading lS garbage.
